About Me:

We're a homeschooling family who loves to travel. My husband, Rob, works at a university and this has enabled us to see many different countries. We have 4 boys. They are Robby-11, Justin-10, Alex-7, and Connor-5. I write this blog from the perspective of a Catholic, American woman adjusting to living in Saudi Arabia. I know that other people have been curious about what it is like for a Western woman here. So, I am very honest in sharing my own experiences and feelings about it. Sometimes, I do get it wrong and I do appreciate comments if my perceptions are incorrect. One of the reasons I love living here is that I learn something new every day. Robby's Birthday Pics

I asked Robby what his favorite 11 year old memory was and of course, he said that it was going to America with his grandpa and Jeanne and seeing everybody. His second favorite was when his dad took him to Bahrain to see a movie on their last day of school last year. His worst memory was when he was grounded for a week in a half. Of course, neither of us could remember why he was grounded- probably chore related.
