Happy New Year
We had a wonderful new year with the kids. We had a little party for them and their friends. This is the first year that we let them stay up as late as they wanted and the first year in a long time that my husband and I made it to midnight. Ds5 fell asleep around 10. We spent some time with the other three around 11, but then, when we came back down at midnight, they were all asleep in their sleeping bags. We whispered happy new year to each of them.
Here's the party crew:
The kids had some buffalo wings for dinner. I made them a funfetti cake (Pillsbury) with icing and sprinkles. Then, the kids played with our new Xbox. We had bought them the 1st and 2nd season of the Hulk to watch, but we were afraid that it would be too scary. We watched it Thursday and Friday instead. The kids love it! It's fun watching a show again from the '80s.
