Lifepacs.....
I like them. Although I don't know that I LOVE them. My daughter seems to. She's easy to please though!! I also have Miquon Math......which I like too. I already have LA Lifepac for next year......just trying to figure out what's best for each other subject.
Right now we are reading 'A Cricket in Times Square'. It's very cute.

If you are still looking for curriculum suggestions for 2nd grade, I really like Explode the Code and Easy Grammar. We have used life paks too. I agree, I like them, but I don't love them. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

We too used LifePacs for a season or two. We grew tired of them, too much work in those books! LOL

This is our first year using lifepac -- The kids looked at them and they seem to like it. I like the layout -- we can add to what ever they are doing. I love your site -- Love the way the words scroll never could figure that out. God Bless talk later 1
