My weekly routine

Posted in Home

I thought I’d share my weekly routine.  Now understand the kids help with this stuff and it doesn’t always happen as planned.  But it is nice to have a routine going so things get done.  There are also days you can just throw the schedule out the window because of things like sickness or crankiness.  But we try and do these things.  I never set a time to the schedule because it would just drive me crazy and if we get sidetracked by something more important I don’t want to stop.  My philosophy is the schedule is supposed to serve you; not you serve the schedule.  Also I put clear contact paper over this so I can keep reusing the same sheets.  I cross it off with a dry erase marker when I finish a task.  I just like looking at things marked off.  LOL  I keep this in my binder.

I really like the way you have your routine set up. I may just have to "borrow" some of it. :)

Yep you need to clean the dishwasher. Food and residue build up along the seal and corners. The inside also starts to change color. Here is a site that gives you step by step instructions on how to do it. http://www.mrscleannw.com/tips/clean-dishwasher.html

That is the way I clean mine.

I needed to see your organized list! I've been slacking off big time lately... can't get my engine going! Seeing your neat, tidy list helped me get back on track. Thanks for sharing! You are an awesome mom!
