Today we did 3 crafts.  We made the festive paper pines, foamy frames, and something that wasn't on our list to hang on the tree.  This year the kids and I have decided not to use any store bought decorations for the tree or house.  We are going to just use homemade things.  They have dubbed it our old fashioned Christmas and have insisted that we cut down our own tree.  So this weekend we will not only visit the tree farm but also cut down our own tree.  This should be interesting.  The kids are all excited about this whole idea.  I think I'll pack some hot cocoa to take along.  Grandma and Grandpa are going to come with us too.
