Yellow headband: cut a strip of yellow construction paper to fit the child’s head then staple the ends together. Then have them glue yellow feathers to it. They may wish to add sequins or glitter to the headband.
Do a string painting with yellow tempera paint. You simply dip the string in the paint and then run it on some paper to make designs.
Do some rubbings. Tape a variety of things on the table (sandpaper, leaves, and doilies) for the kids to place white paper on and use yellow crayons to do rubbings.
Shaving cream art: add a few drops of yellow paint to shaving cream and let the kids paint with it.
Supply the children with yellow noodles and let them create a piece of art. They can glue the noodles to a design or make their own.
Blow art: you’ll need watered down yellow paint, straws, white paper, and a dropper. Give the child a sheet of paper, a straw, and a dropper full of watered down paint. Instruct them to drop a few drops of the paint on the paper and then using their straws blow it around.
