Webquest can be powerful tools in helping teach your child. The best thing about them is they are free. Yes they take a little of your time and energy if you make your own, but there is a ton of premade ones on the internet already.
As parents we have access to this huge web of information, but often are leery about letting our kids loose on it. With a webquest you can direct what information and sites they go to. You are also helping them learn research skills. It is a great tool to get those juices flowing and spark that fire for learning. In this day and age you hear so many bad things about the internet but it is also a powerful tool for the homeschooler. One we can put to use with a little direction. And lets face it kids love being on the computer. So Ive collected sites that will introduce you to what a webquest is and where you can find ones that are already made. I also collected sites that will aide you in creating your own webquest in a separate article for easier locating.
