Driving for the victory
• May. 15, 2006 - It's Raining, It's Pouring the flood waters are rising
Well we are getting ready to build an ark. We are in central New Hampshire and we have flooding everywhere. Thankfully our house is on top of a small hill so we don't get water in the basement, but we have a "stream" in our back yard. That is it was a stream till the beavers got to it. After that it became a small pond. Then came the rains. It is achieving big pond status now. Last week a friend of mine came over to watch our four kids during the day. They went frog hunting down at the little pond. They found frogs and frog's eggs. We were going to take some out of the water and set up an aquarium to watch the frogs hatch and grow. Well, now I don't even know if we can get anywhere near the frogs. Maybe next year.
Hopefully things will get better soon, but I don't see it happening. I just hold on to the promise that God will never flood the earth again...though he didn't say anything about flooding New Hampshire.
