Driving for the victory
• Feb. 8, 2006 - Somebody lied to me :-)
| Someone once told me (or maybe I read it in the Mommy Manual), that once you became a mommy you never would get sick till after the kids left the nest. They lied! This is the second time my loving children have gotten whatever cold or virus is going around and been kind enough to share it with me. I have been sick for the past couple of days, but the kids seem to be on the mend. I am dragging so much and the kids don't seem to understand the idea that I need to take it easy to get better. I have to be sure that the house still basically runs, treat Little Brother for his double ear infection (which was only discovered because I took him to the doctor for his croupy cough), keep Big Brother (who is not sick) from getting bored because he want to do things that are loud and I want the other kids to sleep and try to get better myself. I am not sure I am succeeding at any of it.

• Jan. 31, 2006 - The gift of friends
Yesterday God reminded me how important
friends are. More years ago than either of us want to admit, I
had the pleasure of becoming friends with MaggieRaye. We were
both in college and had some great times. As often happens though
we lost touch after college and went on to make our own lives. A
few years ago totally unexpectedly, God brought us back into each
other's lives. Neither of us were Christians in college, but both
of us were now, so we not only had our old friendship, but we now
shared a sisterhood in Christ which only made the friendship more
special. About a year after we met again, she moved about 300
miles away. Thank God for phones and email.
Yesterday I was feeling like the worst mom on earth. My kids have
a tendency to panic first and rationally think later. They also
have a tendency to whine. We are working hard on those and seem
to be having some success (though it is slow). Lately someone has
been
reminding me about how the kids aren't quiet and well behaved so I was
feeling awful (and it is worse when this person is around). I
called MaggieRaye for the second time in less than a week looking for
sympathy. I got exactly what I needed (as I knew I would), a good
swift kick in the pants. She reminded me that we are all
"fearfully and wonderfully made" and that we are not to compare
ourselves. My kids are exactly who God wants them to be and if
people don't like that then it is their loss. Talking to
MaggieRaye allowed me to remember who I am accountable to, God, not
man.
I thank God for MaggieRaye and her friendship. She is a great lady and I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU!!!

• Jan. 12, 2006 - From the mouths of babes
Little Sister reminded me that she is a child of the new millenia tonight. We watch DVD's, Videos, and have On Demand so we are usually able to pause a program whenever we want. We had been watching "Most Extreme" when dinner was getting on the table. Little Sister asked me to "pause it" while she went and got the milk for the table. I told her that we couldn't pause the TV because it was a regular program. She said, "No Mom, I wanted you to pause dinner." Boy am I old

• Jan. 12, 2006 - The New Year is Here
Well, I was going to try to write more posts during December, but it just didn't happen. Not long after the month started the kids came down with colds. They didn't come down with them all at the same time, they took turns. The big ones came down with it first and then passed it on to me. The Big kids felt miserable and the Little ones were as active as ever. I didn't get the rest I needed and got more run down. As the Big kids got better, the Little ones came down with the cold. So I was running with the big kids, to all their activities, caring for the little ones, getting ready for Christmas and trying to school the kids. I am sure most folks can see where this is headed. By the end of the second week, I had an acute case of broncitis. I was so worn out that I barely made it through a day. I felt better after getting an antibiotic, but by then I was so far behind it wasn't funny. Christmas ended up going well. We didn't have anyone over like we usually do, but it was nice just being alone as a family. The kids got lots of gifts. Big Brother got 2 light sabres, Lego Star Wars for the X-box, Narnia for X-box and a home planetarium. He loves the Lego Star Wars and it is a great game for kids. Narnia was a little too realistic for him (though no blood is shown). He said he had no problems with the Legos breaking apart when they "died", but when one of the kids in Narnia would die (they just lay down) it bothered him. DH bought 2 light sabres so that Big Brother would be able to have "duels" with anyone he wants to. I wasn't thrilled when DH showed them to me, but I didn't make a big issue of it. Well, they (the kids and DH) started "dueling" all over the house. I lost it when they were going at it in the living room with the tree on one side and the TV on the other. I can't wait till they can go outside and go at it. On Christmas night we sat in the living room while the planetarium projected on the ceiling. It came with a CD that gave a guided tour of the solar system through the seasons. It was a lot of fun. Big Sister got girly stuff, a lavender set of lotions, earrings, bracelets and some Elsie Dinsmore books. The little ones got toys, a couple of vsmile cartridges and a great X-box game called "The Bible Game". The kids love "The Bible Game". It allows all the kids to play and helps with their knowledge of the old testament stories. DH got a new cutting board for the kitchen from Pampered Chef and a couple of wireless X-box controllers. I got a wonderful gift, a new laptop. My old one died when the piece that holds the thing that the power cord went into came off the motherboard. It wouldn't work with the powercord or recharge the battery. When it happened I frantically took everything I could off the hard drive and then went back to using the desktop. I missed my laptop and the convience of it. DH brought home 2 wrapped boxes of the same size about 3 days before Christmas and left them under the tree. I am a curious sort, but I didn't have the time or the energy to try to find out what was in the boxes. On Christmas Eve DH was busting at the seams to give me the gifts. We got up before all the kids did. On the last couple of Christmas Eves we have gone to NORAD tracks Santa (we have told the kids that Santa is a wonderful fairy tale like Little Red Riding Hood) so we got to bed late. DH woke the kids and then we ate birthday cake. Every Christmas morning we have a cake and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus. After that, we opened presents before heading for church. DH gave me one of the boxes and when I opened it I found my old lap top. DH had been trying to fix it, and had told me that he couldn't fix it so I didn't expect it. After I opened that one, he gave me the other box. I didn't have a clue what it could be. It was a new laptop. DH had gotten the old one to work fine, but suddenly it stopped charging the battery so it would only work on the cord which kind of defeated the idea of a laptop, so he bought me a new one. He is so sweet. God has been so gracious to us and I thank Him so much for it. I hope that everyone had a great 2005 and wil have an even better 2006.

• Nov. 24, 2005 - Who is really the boss
Today is Thanksgiving and we are visiting my parents. When we woke up this morning we checked to see if the parade had started yet. We heard a person on the show asking kids the following questions: "What does your mom do for a living?" and "Who is the boss in your family?". Most kids answered what their moms did and said that their mom was the boss. I wondered what my kids would have said, so I asked my little ones.
When I asked Little Sister what I did for a living, she told me that I buy food so we can live (I thought that was a great answer). When I asked her who was the boss in our family, she said that DH and I were. When I pressed her for who was the big boss in our family, she said, "God because He is bigger than everybody."
I wish Little Sister had been on the show, though I doubt she would have been put on TV.
Have a great Thanksgiving everybody and remember to give thanks to the Big Boss. |

• Nov. 24, 2005 - I really am still living
Sorry for such a break in the blog entries, but the past few months have been so busy. We have gone to the NHIS race, had a week vacation in Florida, had another child with tonsil surgery, had my main computer die a slow and painful death and have just been going full tilt. I am hoping to post more in the future because I forgot how much fun it is. |

• Sep. 5, 2005 - Happy Labor Day!
Happy Labor Day to all! I went up
to the new homeschooling store in Concord and it is a really nice
place, small but nice. They are going to have activities and
classes available including a Lego league. I may go to that one,
but not if gas prices stay where they are. We are between $2.99
and $3.79 depending on where you are. Thankfully the $2.99 is
around where we are though I never thought I would be thankful for $3 a
gallon for gas. We are going to be around home a lot more than
usual. The Lego group is going to be every other week and near major
stores so if I went up, I would be able to get shopping done too. I
think that is going to be the deciding factor about a lot of traveling
we do this fall. It is time for the kids to understand some of
the sacrifices we make so that we can homeschool and not having a lot
of disposable income is one of them. I just hold tight to the fact that regardless of what men think, God is in control and He will take care of us. "
And we know that all thing work together for good to those who love
God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Romans
8:28.
I have seen that proven in my own life and the lives of others.
God is faithful and will do what He says He will. We may not understand
His ways, but we don't have to in order to lean on Him. As
a new month and a new season start, even with this time of uncertainly
(is there ever a time of certainty?), we much rejuvinate ourselves by
His Word. Matthew 11:28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." May we all rest in Him.

• Sep. 4, 2005 - The Mouths of Babes
Big Brother gave me a great laugh
with a very innocent question. We were watching a "Little House on the
Prarie" re-run and Laura was given a note from the teacher to take
home. She didn't want to show it to Pa so she was avoiding the
issue. Big Brother asks (with a perfectly straight face)..."How
come they just didn't email the note home?".
Yes we are going to study the history of the 1800s better this year.

• Sep. 3, 2005 - Tag I'm it
Lotsapets sent me this tag too.
Are you following any special diet right now? If so, what?
Not really a special diet, but we are cutting down on carbs so it is more high protein.
What food do you love that others usually think is gross?
Escargot (and yes I know what they are).
How many magazines do you personally subscribe to?
4 that I subscribe to for me (Games,Limbaugh Letter, The Old
Schoolhouse and NASCAR Scene). 3 that are gifts from my mom
(Reader's Digest, World of Puzzles, and Math and Logic puzzles).
We get Sports Illustrated from a promotion from Best Buy and Homeschool
Court with our HSLDA membership. DH gets On The Water and the
kids get Boys' Life, Kid's Discover (Big Bro), American Girl (Big Sis),
Your Big Backyard (Little Bro) and Clubhouse JR (Little Sis).
Grandma pays for those for the kids.
What is your most favorite article of clothing, and how often do you wear it?
My most favorite is my M&M's #38 racing Jacket. I wear it
from October through May (depending on how early Spring
is). A friend of mine who met me last October almost didn't
recognize me when I showed up without the jacket. I have a couple
of t-shirts I love too. One has Tinkerbell on it and says "Moods
subject to change without notice" and the other says "U.S. Marines When
it absolutely, positively has to be destroyed overnight". I wear
Tinkerbell when I am in a weird mood (which is often) and I wear the
Marines when I have a lot to do that day. I want to get a SEAL's
t-shirt that says "The only easy day was yesterday" that I will wear
when I feel like I need a little push.
Do either you or your husband still have clothes from High School or college hanging in your closet? If yes- do they still fit?
I have a few t-shirts from college and my colorguard letter jacket from
high school. They all still fit though they are tighter than they were
in college, but still do the job. One of the t-shirts I got
because the team I was on won Winter Carnival in 1985 and the other is
a play on words. I went to the University of Maine at Farmington,
which used to be called Farmington State Normal School (teacher's
colleges were called normal schools, but I have no idea why). The
shirt says "Univ. of Maine Farmington- Once we were normal". DH
doesn't have any clothes from highschool or college
What book are you reading right now?
Darrell Waltrip One on One. It is a devotional by DW and Jay Carty. It is really good if you are a race fan.
Name an odd thing you have on your kitchen or bathroom counter.
I can't really think of anything odd that is on the bathroom or kitchen
counter. On the breakfast bar (kind of a kitchen counter), we
have so many weird things including curriculum, Boy Scout camp pictures
and hairbrushes...don't ask.

• Sep. 3, 2005 - A Fly on the wall
I was tagged by Lotsapets so here it is...our day.
"You have to tell what your day TODAY was like...really! Not what you
wish it'd been like or what you'd planned for it to be like, but how it
really turned out. Be sure to title it "Fly on the Wall" so we can look
for those blogs. Tag about five or so friends (if you want to tag
people)and we can all have fun being a fly on the wall of someone
else's homeschool for a day.
Our day was productive but boring. Big Brother is pretty
sick. He had a really bad headache yesterday and it got worse
today with fever and chills. I am sure it is just a cold, but he is a
lousy patient (aren't all men? )
DH and the rest of us went outside to rebuild the ramp for our
barn. We have a 2 stall horse barn in our back yard and the
person who built our house and barn obviously never heard of the
concept of pressure treated lumber or flashing. When we took
apart the ramp, there were a lot of places where you couldn't tell
where the wood ended and the ground began. It was very much a
hazard.
We had gone to Dad's R Us (aka Home Depot) yesterday for wood and Sam's
club for a huge grocery run. When we got home yesterday we took
out all the parishibles, but didn't get most of the stuff out of the
van and we dumped the wood in the driveway, so today we needed to haul
the wood down to the barn, finish cleaning out the van and package the
bulk meat to get into the freezer. Since I love doing outside
work, I got the job of hauling the wood down behind the lawn tractor. I
learned how to work that nylon racket thing to wrap around the boards
as I dragged them behind the tractor. We have to go down a
hill that is on an angle. It is a very scary little ride till you get
down to the flat part and can turn towards the barn. I did about
6 trips down before I said, "That's it". I let DH drive the last
huge boards down that nasty hill. The were longer, heavier and
more awkward than the shorter 2x6x10s that I had been dragging and I
didn't want to see if that John Deere was going to roll over.
When we finally got all the boards down there, I stayed and helped
build the ramp. It was fun. I got to use the power nailer
and got real good at it too. We had the whole thing done in about
4 hours. The kids just kind of hung out in the treehouse
and playing on the front lawn. Big Brother just stayed inside and
took it easy which was the best thing for him.
After the big ramp was built, I went inside while DH decided that he
would build a little ramp for the shed so we could get the tractor in
without having to bounce over the edge. I went inside and packed
meat into little bags. We use the "Saving Dinner" menu mailers and we
bought 2 weeks worth plus extra so it was a lot of little bags.
I watch Cup qualifying from California and was glad to see Carl Edwards
get his first pole. We ate a dinner of leftovers from what we got
at Long John Silvers last night while we were in Concord and then the
kids headed to bed.
As I said, not a very exciting day, but very productive. I
do need to say a special "Atta Girl" to Big Sis. She can be
difficult sometimes, but today she really was a big help. She
kept bringing ice water out to us at the ramp building, kept an eye on
the little guys and when she was inside, she helped get things for Big
Brother without having to be asked. That made our day go
much easier so to Big Sister!!!!

• Aug. 29, 2005 - Things that go scrape in the night
DH's Jeep needs to be inspected by the end
of the month so we had to do the garage switcheroo. Since his
Jeep won't hold all 6 of us, one of us drives the Jeep and everybody
else piles in the van and we all meet at the garage (about 10 miuntes
away), then drive home. Well, DH told me to drive alone in the
Jeep so that I could pick up some groceries at the store on the way
before it closed. The driveway was dark when I went out but since
the Jeep was parked right by the house I didn't worry about it. I
went around to the driver's side and as I rounded the hood, I heard
something scrape against the Cover-it encloser we have in the
driveway. I sounded good sized and I really didn't want to get up
close and personal in the dark with some animal I didn't know. We don't
have dogs or cats so I knew at best it was one of the neighbor's pets,
at worst...well we have fishers (nasty, vicious weasle-like animals),
bobcats, raccoons, bears, and coyotes among other things in our
woods. I wasn't going to stick around for animal identification.
I ran back in the house and hollered for DH to turn on the spot lights
(they turn on from our bedroom on the second floor). He turned
them on then wanted to know what was going on. When he came out
nothing was between the Jeep and the Cover-it. I assumed it had
run away. DH realized he had left his fishing pole in the Jeep so
as he was taking it out, I walked around the back of the Jeep trying to
see if I could see anything on the dirt driveway. Then I heard
the scraping noise again behind me (I had my back to the
Cover-it). The animal was back. I swung around as the noise
happened again and I finally saw the creature that made the awful scary
noise in the pitch black darkness. It was a...
Frog!
The frog was jumping up the side of the Cover-it and making that
scraping noise at about the level of knee. I felt so silly!
DH started to laugh, but stiffled it when he saw the "We are not
amused" look on my face. At the time I was embarrassed, but now I see that it really was funny.

Okay so my oldest 2 kids aren't really
zebras, but they do have new stripes...green ones on their yellow Tae

know they passed. They should get their stripes in the next week
or so. I am so proud of them!

• Aug. 27, 2005 - Kid's good behavior
We went out to dinner last night at Olive
Garden. It was a bit of a wait to get in because they had a lot
of big families, so the kids were getting a little ansy. When we
were seated, the little ones went all the way to the end of the booth
and the big kids sat in the middle with DH and I on the end. That
didn't work out very well because little ones being out of reach of the
adults is a big excuse for them to be less than well behaved. We
moved the little ones to the middle next to us and we reminded them
about restaurant behavior. We don't get to go out very often
(dinner out for a family of 6 in never cheap) so the little ones don't
have that much practice. The little ones calmed down but were
still ansier than we would have liked. As tired parents, all we
noticed were how inappropriate they were behaving and how many times we
had to speak to them. They weren't behaving terribly, just being
ansy, boisterous kids having fun.
When the waitress was cleaning up the table she said that we had such
good kids with great personalities and that our house must always be a
lot of fun. DH jokingly said that it was like a zoo a lot of the
time and she laughed. She said that they have many kids who
behave terrible and that it is nice when they have well behaved kids. I
put my arm around Little Sis who was next to me and I said that the
waitress was right, we do have some pretty great kids and thanked her
for the compliment.
Since homeschoolers are teaching, correcting, and guiding our kids all
the time, we sometimes overlook all the times when the kids are
behaving well and just being their wonderful selves. I know that
I need to let the kids know how proud I am of them and how much I
appreciate them.

• Aug. 27, 2005 - Game day
I got my demo package from Simplyfun the
other day and had the kids play test everything with me (check out the
link in my blog for more info about Simplyfun). I have loved
board games since I was a little kid and my kids love them too.
The kids enjoyed almost all the games (and the ones they didn't like as
much were the older party games which I let them play because they
badgered me .).
They wanted to play "Walk the Dogs" over and over. In the game
they get to collect little statues of different dog breeds.
Little Bro loves dogs and he really got into this game (and it didn't
hurt that he won the games too). We also put together 2 of the
3D puzzles, a biplane and a formula 1 car. The biplane is
considered easy and it really was easy to make. The F1 car is
intermediate. It was a lot harder to do. I was thankful
that one of the kids is much more spatially intelligent than I am
(for info on multiple intelligences check out the link in my blog). We
decided to glue the car so it will be a model now. I am not sure
I want to try an advanced puzzle, but I may someday if I get really
gutsy .

• Aug. 24, 2005 - This and that
After a not so subtle prod from lotsapets, I am updating my blog.
Big Sister is feeling a lot better since the surgery. Her pain is
subsiding and she isn't as dependant on pain meds. She sleeps a
lot better and seems to have a better attitude, but we haven't really
asked much of her so the jury is still out on that one.
Yesterday was DH's birthday .
The kids and I got him lots of fishing stuff like lures and fake
worms. I had a lot of foam paper craft supplies hanging around so
I had the kids make foam cards for DH. They had a lot of fun with
that. Little Brother was in a tessellating mood. He wanted
everything on his card to fit together without gaps or overlaps like a
mosaic. That worked great with the letters that were printed in squares
like letter blocks, but not so hot with the letters that were shaped
like the letters (okay I have no idea if that really makes sense .
DH really liked the cards and had a good birthday. When I asked
about my birthday, he started hemming and hawing. Come to find
out that my DH is going to be on a business trip for the 2 days before
my birthday and will be returning late on my birthday. Oh well,
at least I get to go to the race the weekend before so I will still be
on a race day high while DH is gone.
We set up the archery target yesterday too. I pulled out my bow
which I haven't fired in about 12 years. DH and I got matching
bows for each other for our 3rd anniversary. I found some arrows in the
closet, but didn't know if they were mine or DH's and I couldn't find
my tab (the cloth that covers your fingers when you pull back the
bow). I figured I would try shooting anyway though I
figured I wouldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Big Brother had
a tab, but it was for the right hand and I needed one for the left (I
am right handed, but left eyed so I have a left handed bow). We
set up the target at 30 feet and I gave it my best shot .
What do you know? I actually hit the target, admittedly high to the
right, but on the target none the less. I was impressed .
I shot a few more and made a bullseye a couple of times. Boy did
my hand hurt though. It is tough pulling a 46 pound bow cable
back with just your fingers. I hope to find my tab soon. I
can't really use the mechanical release. I guess I am not that
coordinated .
I have taken the plunge into direct sales. I had thought about
stuff like Pampered Chef and Creative Memories, but I am just not into
those kind of things. Well I found something I love and could
easily have a party about...board games. The company is called
Simply fun and the games are designed for families to play
together. It takes about 5 minutes to learn the games and about
40 minutes total to play them. While I love games like Monopoly,
having games that take hours to play doesn't work well kids or a busy
schedule. If anyone is interested in seeing the games, check out
the Simply Fun link on my blog.
Not much else going on around here. We have a friend's daughter
(age 10) staying with us this week and that has been a lot of fun for
the kids. Hopefully we are starting school next week. I
have to finish imputting my plans in the Homeschool Tracker. It
is an awesome program that keeps track of everything and allows me to
print out schedules for each kid. I'll put a link up so folks can
check that out. They have a basic version which is free, and a
plus version which is about $40 I think. The plus version is
really worth it.
I'll try to be more diligent in updating my blog so that lotsapets doesn't have to keep prodding me .

• Aug. 19, 2005 - Land reclaimation day
Today I reclaimed some of our land.
We had let the area right by our front walk get overrun by apple mint
plants. Those things grow like crazy and have a very stong
smell. I, manned with rake and hedge clippers, went at the many
plants there and found the yard below it. Unfortunately now I
smell like mint. DH likes the smell, but I can't stand it.
After I tackled the mint, I went on to the lawn mower. I really
like doing yard work, and equally dispise doing housework.
Yardwork is wonderful because once you have done something, it stays
that way. When you cut the grass, it stays cut for at least a
week and then you just do the same thing you did before and it looks
good again. The only thing domestic about me is that I live in a
house. Housework is neverending. Once the laundry is done, there are always new dirty clothes to take care of. I clean the sink and within a half hour, there are dishes back in it again.
I put something away, and it seems as soon as I turn around there is a
mess there again, or I can't find what I am looking for because someone
has moved it. I mowed the front yard around noon and four hours later
it looks just like it did when I finished.
When the front yard was finished, I headed down our back hill for the
field. Big Brother wants to learn archery and we have a field in
the back yard that would be a great place to set up a target.
Unfortunately, we haven't done anything with it this year, so it looked
like a little hay field. So with the John Deere tractor at top
speed, I went to bounce around in the long grass.
I knew there was ground there somewhere but I couldn't see any of
it. I dove into the brush and mowed a path. Anyone who has
lived in rural New England knows that flat and level are two words
rarely used to describe the land around here, and this field was no
exception. It felt like the surface of the moon with grass on
it.
I didn't get it all done before the gas got low, but there is a
definate change and I will be able to finish it soon hopefully, as long
as I can keep DH off the mower because he likes to do yardwork
too. Maybe I can figure out a way to make DH or the kids
love housework...Nah, that will never happen.

• Aug. 17, 2005 - Praise for surgery
Big Sister's surgery went very well and she
is home recovering. She is in pain, but not in agony. She
didn't have any complications and she doesn't appear to be having
stomach problems from the pain medication. We now go into pain
medication distribution, otherwise known as parents waking up every 4
hours all day and all night long. I thought I was done with the
sleep depravation when my kids started sleeping through the
night. Well at least I'm not changing diapers this time
around.
Thanks for all of your prayers, we really appreciate it.

• Aug. 16, 2005 - Big Sister Surgery
|
Well tomorrow is the big day. Big Sis is
going to have her tonsils and adnoids out. She is nervous (and I
admit I am too), but I am sure everything will go fine. All
prayers for everything to go great tomorrow are greatly appreciated..
We have to be at the hospital at 11:30 AM and surgery is at 12:20
(EDT). She has never been put under before so we are praying she
won't have a problem with the anesthesia. I will let folks know
how she is doing tomorrow after we get home.

• Aug. 15, 2005 - I love my Chiropractor
After hurting my shoulder I called up the
chiropractor to let them know that I wouldn't be at my monthly
appointment today. The secretary told me that the doctor is also
a PT and that I should have him take a look at the shoulder. I
will admit that I had my doubts about chiropractors when DH was
recommended to see one. DH had been in a car accident and he went
to the regular doctor who prescribed pain killers and
anti-inflammatories. DH was in a huge amount of back pain and
could barely stand up when a friend suggested seeing the
chiropractor. We were skeptical, but desparate so we went.
The x-rays showed that DH's back looked like a giant S and the muscles
were all pulling in ways they shouldn't. Even after DH was
feeling better, we were still leary until we mentioned that DH's back
was hurting to our pastor. Our pastor is a wonderful, Godly man,
but is also about as conservative as they come. Well, he said, "Are you
seeing a chiropractor yet?". We were shocked, but pastor was
adamant that chiropractors can do wonders with the back, and we were
sold.
After about a month, DH convinced me to go see the chiro even though I
wasn't having back pain. The first adjustment was freaky! I
heard my neck sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies and I was sure that I
would never walk again, but when I did get up, I felt better.
Since that time, DH's back has been feeling good and I am doing better
too, but I guess that I didn't fully trust my chiro yet, but now I
do.
After resting the shoulder as much as I could this weekend, and having
it feel achy most of the weekend I didn't think that the chiropractor
could do much. Well, boy was I wrong. He checked how much I
could use it, then I heard it go pop and it felt great
afterwards. From now on whenever I have something hurting like
that, I am calling the chiro first, not last.
