This assignment may stretch your mind and imagination.

Easter is the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To fulfill the prophesy of Scripture and to guarantee salvation to those who believe and trust in Him, His earthly body died on what we call Good Friday and the rose again three days later. Then He ascended into heaven to be with God our Father. 

For this assignment, think about these events from our past and how they have affected your life.  Now consider what it would have been like if God had decided to fulfill the prophesy in our time. Describe how you think the events would have unfolded?  How would your life have been different?  What do you think the world would have been like?  Consider all the things we have today and what it was like back then.  Write your story from any point of view you may wish, for example: as a news reporter, as an apostle, as a follower, as a religious leader, etc…  Keep the same events: betrayal by Judas, handed over for trail, trail and persecution, crucificition on the cross, burial and resurrection. You are only setting the time frame in the present, not altering the physical events.
