On the third Monday in February, Americans celebrated President’s Day. Originally it was meant to honor George Washington’s birthday (February 22) and Abraham Lincoln’s birthday (February 11) but it has been come to be known as a day to recognize all the U.S. Presidents.
Do you have a favorite President? Or perhaps there is one that you have found to be interesting or think has had a major impact on America? Chose one President and write about that person. Explain why you chose him and what contributions he has made to America.
