In the mornings during my time with the Lord I have been doing a study called "A 30-day walk with God in the Psalms" by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. What a great study..........I love reading Psalms and this one has really helped make things more clear. Today we did Psalms 121;

1 I look up to the mountains—
      does my help come from there?
 2 My help comes from the Lord,
      who made heaven and earth!

 3 He will not let you stumble;
      the one who watches over you will not slumber.
 4 Indeed, he who watches over Israel
      never slumbers or sleeps.

 5 The Lord himself watches over you!
      The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.
 6 The sun will not harm you by day,
      nor the moon at night.

 7 The Lord keeps you from all harm
      and watches over your life.
 8 The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go,
      both now and forever.

Just to know that God is with us at all times........never sleeps, stands beside us and is our protection. Sometimes we turn to others or things or try and fix things on our own but if we could get a hold of this passage and trust that the Lord is with us..............we would be able to rest in Him. I know for me during these times with our country and with prices going up everywhere it sure feels good to know that the Lord is right there beside me watching out for me.

Need some ideas

Ok Ladies I need some help. My husband is getting me a laptop and I have no clue what kind to get. Would any of you like to give me opinions on some different ones? If you have one.......what do you like about it or what you don't like about it.

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that I serve a wonderful Lord & Saviour

I am thankful for a wonderful and hardworking husband

I am thankful for 2 amazing kids

I am thankful that I can be at home to homeschool my kids

I am thankful for the roof over our head, food on our table and clothes on our back

I am thankful that I can serve the Lord with my gift that He blessed me with

This is just a short list of course because there are many things to be thankful for. So what things are you thankful for? Please share.

Monday Meanderings

Today is Monday Meanderings..............go ahead and check it out over at Less of Me ~More of Him

Bible Study / Devotions:   I am doing a devotional book for homeschooling moms and just started in Proverbs.

Must Do's:  
*This week I have to get my homeschool planbook all caught up......not to far behind but if I don't do it I will be.......lol.
*Laundry all caught up
*Get my dd chore list typed up

Homekeeping;  Start on my spring cleaning list.............not to heavy but try and get a few things done.

Train them up;  We work through our dd daily devotional. Wanting to start something new like Beautiful Girlhood. Anyone do that one? What did you think about it.?

Menu;

Monday............... Fish, macroni & cheese & green beans
Tuesday..............Ravoli Lasagna, Salad & bread
Wednesday........Our eating night due to be at church early
Thursday.............Ramen Meal & Salad
Friday...................Sloppy Joes & French Fries
Saturday..............Pizza
Sunday.................Sandwhiches & Soup
