Lauren seems to be feeling better today, and we got a pleasant surprise. A new physical therapist came by today to work with him on range of motion exercises. They have decided that the "dislocation" of his hips is not permanent as they had previously said, but could be improved as the groin wound heals. The current therapy is designed to keep his muscles pliable and moving until that time. This is a great blessing!
In the last twenty-four hours, two of the twelve patients on this hall have passed away. Please pray for the Dobbs and Sanders families in their time of loss. It was special to see the love and kindness poured out on them by the staff and volunteers in this unit. It is clear that these people are trulty committed to serving their patients and their families. It turns out that the only employees who work on this hall are those who specifically requested this duty, and almost all of them are committed, practicing Christians. What a way to serve the Lord!.
I will keep it short tonight as others need the computer. Thank you for reading and praying. Please feel free to share this and to post comments. I love to hear your feed back.
