Dwelling in the Shelter of the Most High

Jan. 15, 2009 - Name Change

OK, I've been contemplating a name change for The Professor.  I really want to change it to Rainbow Brite.  The kid doesn't exactly look like RB and the show was way after my time (I'm an old Baby Mama) so I have no idea if the personality is the same.  It's just that the name, when I heard it, seemed to fit.  So since I'm on the fence, I'm going to post a poll:

Should I Change "The Professor" to Rainbow Brite

Jan. 16, 2009 - names

Just to muddy the waters, I like the "chasing rainbows" bar you have under the professor's name in your sidebar. That seems a better description of the professor than either Rainbow Brite or The Professor. When you say "chasing rainbows", I immediately get the concept of a bright, imaginative young mind whose ready for an adventure...especially if its an adventure in a make-believe land or a new creative endeavor. (On the other hand, if that isn't at all your child, disregard me.) But, maybe you should consider Rainbow Chaser instead of Rainbow Brite.

On a different topic, how are you going to plant anything in your garden on Sunday? Are you not part of the frozen north? Our temp this morning is negative five degrees fahrenheit. I had to spell that out so no part of it got overlooked.

I have fond memories of Rainbow Brite so I voted Yes! Thank you so much for your prayers. I felt so comforted knowing someone was joining me in prayer! Thank you and God bless.
