Aug. 7, 2008 - new teacher each year? why?
I was reading my first ever issue of Old Schoolhouse, from my own subscription that is and love it. One woman was talking about seeing her kids learn every year and it made me question why do we have kids go from one teacher to the next each year. The teacher finally gets to know the kids and their learning styles and then bam! They are in a new year with a brand new teacher. Homeschooling makes sense - we know our kids, see how they learn, can adapt to them instead of the other way around, and we get to build the relationship with them and continue it not have it end in May or June. I love how homeschooling makes me think differently about the world. Maybe that's why God made it so strong for today's world.

I have had those same thoughts and am glad to watch my own children learn and grow 24/7. I want to see the fruit of my own labors, with Christ's strength needed in me of course! :}

Of course I said I was just going to post one comment and I thought of something else! Here is another blog. I've read this mothers blog many times. She has "Christian Unschooled" for years and all her children are learning and growing (as yours are also)
