Sep. 29, 2008 - Fireproof #4 at the box office
Shane just emailed this to me!!! I'd say that's pretty good considering it was showing on less than 1000 movie screens in the nation. God was glorified in the darkest places this weekend!!!!
http://movies.yahoo.com/mv/boxoffice/
It was #4 on opening weekend and was on less than 1,000 screens

Sep. 29, 2008 - Fireproof GO see it!
We went to see Fireproof yesterday and took all of our children and a couple of extra too. The movie was wonderful! The theatre was not as full as I would have liked to see but we went to the Sunday 1:40 show, so maybe the other times were busier.
The one thing we were concerned in taking our children was the subject of pornography. But we also knew the reason it was PG was because of it being about God and not for any other content. We thougth it was handled very tastefully. The discussions about it were vague enough that the younger set would have missed it, but direct enough that those older knew what they were talking about. The one scene that showed anything at all was a pop-up on the computer screen, basically a picture of a pretty brunette with the caption at the bottom of "wanna see more" The young lady was smiling, there was no skin, and the picture showed nothing from the neck down. (Basically, you can see more "porn" on underwear commercials, or in the lobby after the movie, than this one scene). I think it was a very powerful scene to show the battle Caleb was fighting within himself. I hope Dad's and Mom's will use it as a spring board for discussing internet porn with their boys especially.
There is also one scene near the begininng that is a bit intense. It involves a train... I'll not say more because I don't want to give it away. Just be prepared to be on the edge of your seat...
Sherwood has outdone themselves. Like Facing the Giants, and Flywheel, there is a good mix of serious, and funny. Look for several cameo appearances by the actors in the last movies, including the Kendrick brothers. There is also an interesting little twist at the end of the movie.
Of course the storyline itself is a little more intense than a football team that has a stellar year because they honored God. But I'm glad to see Sherwood taking this direction. I would recommend this movie to anyone.
I must say that the previews were awful! We told the children to close/cover their eyes but they still heard an earful. Shane asked me to go out and make sure we were in the right theatre. (and met another lady doing the same thing). The manager came over and asked if there was a problem and I told her about the previews being terrible for anyone, much less my young children. The were nearly immediately stopped and the movie began. She also said they would be pulling those previews from that movie for the remainder of the run. Apprently yesterday was the only day those really nasty previews were shown as that was the only day they had received several complaints. It did give us a chance to ask the children if they understood why we rarely went to the movie theatre... they did.
This is a must see movie.

Sep. 19, 2008 - Who Are We Voting For?
Robin just left a comment and asked what we were going to be doing about voting this election... I was going to comment on her blog, but decided to quickly post a reply here instead:
You asked about what we'll do about voting this election on my blog. We will never not vote, even if we write in someone. This country was founded on the principles that country is about "we the people" We will do our job and vote. I nearly positive that Shane will have us vote Constitution party this time. We just can't in good conscience bring ourselves to vote for "the lesser of two evils" It's not a can of worms at all, it's a good question and one many are thinking of this fall in this election season.

Sep. 10, 2008 - Deborah and Barak
Voddie Baucham ROCKS!!! He stood firm on CNN yesterday and spoke the Truth. The CNN anchor actually brought up Deborah. Deborah was the first person I thought of when McCain announced Palin as his VP choice. Personally, I am extremely disappointed in the many evangelicals that came out in favor of McCain now that he has chosen Palin as his running mate. You'd think that Palin was running for President the way all of this is playing out. McCain has not changed his positions (at least not today). He's chosen a woman as his running mate. As Dr. Baucham pointed out, Israel was in dire straights... they were being judged. Deborah being in charge was not a good thing! It was because the men wouldn't stand up and do their job!
By the way, have you read the story of Deborah lately. It's in Judges 4 and 5. The man that would not do the job was named Barak-- interesting, huh???

Aug. 26, 2008 - "Bad" Joke lands Kentuckian in Jail
Does anyone else think this is absolutely ridiculous? Personally, I don't think this is a "bad" joke. A man spends 3 days in jail for joking around with the wrong person. This is political correctness to the absurd extreme. The fact that the Aunt of these girls even wanted this man arrested is beyond my imagination, but what kind of judge puts a man in jail for joking around? Further more, let's think about this-- is any man going to make a s*xual inuendo to 2 teen girls in front of their Aunt, Mother, Father, etc??? THAT would be even stupider than what this Aunt and the Judge did!
Maybe Kentucky judges should learn their history lessons:
Appalachian scholar Loyal Jones said the jest Hensley made has been around for generations and actually is intended as a compliment.
How does an age old joke become s*xual?????
I think I'll have to forward this to my Daddy has a warning. He calls women all the time "pretty lady" and jokes to get people to laugh. He'll be 69 this year, believe me, he's not flirting, he's just having fun. He might be calling me to post bond some day...
Not only must people like this have no life, they must suck lemons for fun.

Aug. 25, 2008 - Please Use Snopes
We have an aquaintance that lives in PA. Every now and then, she sends us different "important" emails. Today she sent the one that has been circulating for 8 years about the drug Phenylpropanolamine. Although at the time, this was true it is vastly outdated! I have told this woman about Snopes, and encouraged her to verify emails before she sends them out but this one "sounded important" so instead of checking, she sent it on. Even the link to the FDA in the body of the email, says that this email is obsolute!
Please people, if you get an email like this, or any other that could or could not be true verify it before you send it on blindly.
www.snopes.com in the search box, type a key word from the email. In this case I typed Phenylpropanolamine and it took me right to it.

Aug. 9, 2008 - More Olympic Yuck
This has nothing to do with China, but it does have to do with what "sport" qualifies as an Olympic sport. Today, we trecked to town thinking we would go to Paradise Park and ride go karts, play mini-golf, and shoot each other in the foam factory. It was sprinkling when we left and we were hopeful that either a) it wouldn't be raining in the city, or b) the outdoor activities would be running anyway since the rain was not even hardly there.
As we walk in, the T.V. was on, just as it is at every place, everywhere these days. Paradise Park is no exception. They Olympics were on. But I had to tell my boys and my hubby to not even look, because there were bikini clad women on the screen. Since when are bikini clad women with che*ks hanging out playing beach volleyball an Olympic sport????
I remember being in college, going to the state park down the road, where there was a beach volleyball net set up. The local Mennonite women would play this sport in their dresses. So why do the Olympics have to border on pornography?
I've changed my mind...I doubt we'll be watching any of the Olympics on purpose.
BTW, we ended up at a different branch of our wonderful library and I didn't give the children a book limit, we spent about 2 hours there, the children brought home bags of books. And since Shane was there, I even got to bring some things home. Stopped by Dollar General and Walmart for a couple of things. Then we ate lupper (lunch/supper) at Cracker Barrel (one of my favorite places to eat) and then we explored the new Bass Pro Shop... very cool. It was kind of comical --Shane pointed out that the women were the ones walking around with the bored, lets get out of here looks... You know the same looks you see at the mall on the faces of the men waiting on their women (I'd like to think I wasn't among those bored faces I really did think it was cool). Home, showers and bed for the children. Searching for some last minute books for this years AO schedule for Princess. She's doing year 7. Anybody know where I can get the right set of Churchill's "The Birth of Britain" without spending a small fortune?????

Aug. 8, 2008 - One World One Dream
I might really tick some people off here, but I am about to be sick. I haven't really thought much about the Olympics. Or to the fact that they are in China, until tonight... I've had other things to be more concerned about (like how I'm going to deal with the nasty lady at the only ortho office in the metro that will take LB's insurance for his ortho work over the next 10 years due to his cleft palate).
So tonight we turned on the T.V. for a few minutes thinking that we'd find something ridiculous (like Red Green) to watch while we sipped a glass of wine. Instead we found the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. Honestly, I'm not a big summer Olympic fan even during normal circumstances. We will usually watch some of the winter games, usually some of the ice skating, and skiing, but I wouldn't even say I'm a fan of them either. If we happen to catch some of them great, if not I'm not gonna cry. My world doesn't stop. We haven't studied or even talked much about the games. If I remember, we might watch some of them this week, but it definately won't be a priority on our school schedule. The children are definately much more excited about going to Paradise Park tomorrow and Worlds of Fun Thursday than the Olympics.
Okay, so back to the opening ceremonies. The commentators are discussing how wonderful this year's Olympics are. How happy the participants look (could have fooled me, yes, some of them were, but many had sour faces). They talked about how prosperous China is becoming (I couldn't help but think about how much of their success is at America's expense--remember all those Polly Pockets that had to be recalled because of lead based paint?) And how wonderful it "feels" to be a part of something so great!
There is no mention of China not keeping even ONE of their promises that they made in order to secure the Olympics. And yet, the olympics continue. No, it's not fair to those atheletes that trained, but something could have been done before 2 weeks before the games, couldn't have it?
The atheletes are going to be competing with smog infested air quality. I understand that the US biking team came off the plane wearing masks, then ended up apologizing for offending the Chinese government, and taking the masks off. What happened to the communist country apologizing for not keeping their promises and subjecting these first class atheletes to terrible air quality.
The commentators continue to goo-goo and ga-ga about how wonderful it is that China is hosting the olympics. Let me set the record straight.
It is not wonderful that the entire world is normalizing communism.
Then there is the theme for this year's games.
One World One Dream.
Makes me want to break out and sing...
"I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony"....
"We are the world, we are the children..."
gag me with a spoon.
Would this dream be the one child per family policy? Or the dream of communism?
Would you believe that Shane just came out clearing his voice and saying that he just couldn't hold it in any longer. He belted out the first line of "I'd like to teach the world to sing" and said he really wanted to share a Coke with his communist neighbor. Then he said maybe a Budweiser would be more appropriate... but then that won't work either now since a Belguim company will own Anheuser-Busch before long.
Oh where oh where has the U-S-A gone, Oh where oh where can it be?
If this country elects Obama, we could live out the One World, One Dream motto in 4 years or less...
(btw, if you don't like what I've said please move on, my blog, my thoughts. The don't violate HSB's TOS. Any nasty comments will be deleted, thank you.)

Aug. 5, 2008 - Please Forgive my Lack of Sympathy
A couple of weeks ago, I actually got caught up on my google reader. For some time I have been deleting most, if not all of the drudge report feeds. But today I took a couple of minutes to actually look at a couple of the stories. (Dial up makes it nearly impossible)
While I was reading I came across this news story about a man claiming he is too fat to be executed. Apparently the man was to be executed a few years ago but had poor veins. Since that time he has gained weight which has made the problem worse. Forgive me for being crass, but put the man on a bread and water diet! He won't need many nutrients for longevity.
I'm trying hard to figure out why it's okay to starve a woman (Teri Shiavo) that hasn't done anything to anyone but her poor husband that has abandoned her and why it isn't okay to "help" a man sentanced for death row loose a few pounds. Or why it even matters if he has a painful death. I'm sure he wasn't worried about that while he was r*ping and m*rdering his 2 victims.
Forgive me for not having any sympathy for this man! He made the choice to do these nasty, nasty crimes and now he's worried about his pain--poor baby...
I'll tell him the same thing I tell my children when they've done something that causes unsavory consequences. "You should have thought of the consequences before you did it"

Jul. 28, 2008 - I Stand (Kind of) Corrected--
Imagine my surprise when I received an email in my inbox from the Director of Network Operations for BRN. For a minute, I thought I was in trouble But Eben was only clarifying my post on FCC reguations for Christian radio. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to make sure I have it right. Here is Eben's email in full:
I just saw your comment regarding Christian radio stations and requirements to run political ads. In a nutshell, here’s what the rules require; radio and television stations, Christian or not (unless they are non-commercially licensed), are required to run political ads from candidates for Federal offices (President/U.S. Senate/U.S. House). Below that level, it is up to the station as to whether or not they will take a particular race. However, if a station takes one candidate for mayor, state house, state senate, etc., they are required to make time available to sell to that candidate’s opponents, if requested.
If a Christian station is licensed as non-commercial, they are not required to take ANY political advertising. Also, even commercially licensed stations can refuse issues advertising, let’s say, from a political action committee, about some kind of issue that is to appear on the ballot.
There are MANY more political rules, but what I mentioned above is what applies to the discussion on your Web site.
Hope this helps.
Bott Radio is comprised of commercial and non-commercial stations all over the country. For those of you that may not know, a commercial station is one that can have "normal" commercials. Commercial stations do not accept donations. A non-commercial would be those stations that have sponsorships and often are "listener supported" but not always "listener supported."
I hope I have that close enough to right, it's kind of freaky knowing your husband's boss is reading your blog

Jul. 27, 2008 - They Have To Do It
One News Now had an article recently that took a poll about pro-abortion candidates running political ads on Christian radio. An overwhelming percentage 93% said they opposed the idea. But what they may not know is that according to federal FCC regulations Christian radio stations HAVE to run all ads. They can refuse state ads, but then must also refuse all candidates for the race. So, essentially you local radio station has no choice.
Now, here are a couple of idea that they can do-- Dick Bott, the owner of the station that Shane works for, along with many others all over the country gave suggestions to station owners.
If you hear an Obama ad on Christian radio, (and you will if you listen at all-he wants our vote) don't get upset with the station, call them and offer Mr. Bott's suggestions... it's the only choice they have.

Jul. 24, 2008 - Clarification-- overcoming shyness
Good grief! I guess I did not make myself clear in the post about Mercola's article on shyness and the comment made by one of his readers. I was specifically addressing the commenter's quote supposedly written by the author of the book about the "alexander technique" stating that we "just don't do bad things."
The passage highlighted in black in the previous post about shyness is by the author of the comment on Mercola's blog--not my comment. The passage highlighted in red was the specific part of the comment that I was making observations about. My thoughts are in green. The specific issue I have, is with the comment about ""assuming we are bad," and that we have been "made correctly and just don't do bad things." I believe that taking the complete comment alone, without any clarification (which the author of the comment did not do) to the logical conclusion leads one to believe that "all people are made good" and that is not true. If all people are made good, then none of us need a Savior and Christ died for nothing. If all people are good, then the logical conclusion is that their actions are good as well, and it leads us to the conclusion of humanism, and the belief that there is no absolute truth, which leads to the "I'm Okay, You're Okay" mentality--which is not true. It would also lead to murder, stealing, rape, abortion, etc, etc. being okay.
I know nothing about this book or the Alexander technique" I have no idea how the "alexander technique" relates to back pain or anything else. Although I do believe stress can lead to backpain and an assortment of other problems as well.
Personally, I am not a shy person by nature, so I wasn't reading the article to find out how to overcome my shyness, but I thought it sounded interesting, so I read it. I was soley commenting on the comment quoted in the original post in red--if this quote is in fact written in the book, it is an untrue statement and is humanistic in nature. That is all.
Anonymous, what you describe is different than what the commenter on Mercola stated. Or maybe the commenter on Mercola's site didn't explain themselves thouroughly.
BTW,. it would be nice if you identified yourself because it gives your comment more credibility.

Jul. 20, 2008 - Do Not be Unequally Yoked
We love Jonathon Park. We’ve listened to them over and over and over and over and over and over again. We LOVE Jonathon Park. (In fact when Bubba saw the VF table at the conference, he HAD to go ask when the next one was coming out, although he had emailed them just a couple of months ago).
Recently, we were listening to one of the earlier episodes again. It is the episode where they decide to let Miles Morgan go as the leader of the Creation Response Team, because they are unequally yoked, Miles is not a believer. This phrase stuck with me. And throughout this weekend, I have been thinking about it from time to time.
Do not be unequally yoked. Usually, we think of this in relation to a marriage relationship. The authors of Jonathon Park put it in a different light. And I’ve been thinking about this in relation to some other areas of our lives. In an indirect way, the speakers from this weekend’s conference confirmed my thoughts on this passage.
Some people talk about putting their children in government schools to be “salt and light.” And while I wholeheartedly agree that we need to be salt and light to the world, I cannot agree that sending a child into shark infested waters is a wise thing. Yes, you read that right, shark infested waters. In fact, I cannot agree that sending a “Christian teacher” into the shark-infested waters is a right thing either. The government schools are not safe places for your child! Or for an adult. Their ways are subtle. They will teach your child secular humanism. They teach that the universe came from a “big bang” not from an Awesome Creator that formed every item in the entire world! They teach that your child came from a monkey that evolved over millions of years into a superior being to the “rest of the animals.” They do not teach that you are a Created being formed in the inner-most place by The Creator of all things. This is their goal! Perhaps YOU even believe this! Even as a Christian, you may believe this. The majority of born-again Christians do not believe in a literal 6-day creation.
Another place that we shouldn't be unequally yoked, is with the foster care system. I know that some of you that read my blog are foster parents. Some of you are new foster parents. Some of you are working on getting your foster care license. So, you may not like what I have to say. I believe it is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to work within that system and come out unscathed. I have seen people that once held strong convictions loosen them. I have seen this more than once. These people don’t even KNOW they have been affected but they have. They say that the people on the lower levels really do care, it’s the bureaucrats up higher that are the problem. Know what I say? HOGWASH!!! They think they can influence the children in their home by taking them to church with them when the doors are open, by having them see a healthy Christian home. All it takes is one lie by the child, and the influence is gone and they are moved. Foster parents have no rights where the foster child is concerned. The Foster care system works to destroy families!!!!!! They rip children from their homes. Recently a child was removed when he unknowingly purchased his son "Mike's Hard Lemonade" at a baseball game. Lest you think this only happens in Michigan, think again!
No, I don’t believe one can even be foster parents, in their later years. God gave grandparents a responsibility. Doug Phillips reminded us Friday night that the “father’s father” is mentioned more times than parents are in the Scriptures. This command is more important than the command to take care of orphans and widows. In a "perfect" world, the extended family and then the church would be taking care of the orphans, but this is not a perfect world and the church has allowed the state to take over the responsibility that God gave his church. Grandparents cannot be grandparents if they are “ministering” to orphans that are wards of the state.
Dear friends, do not be unequally yoked.

Jul. 18, 2008 - Information Overload!
We had to take a break from the conference. We are all running on empty and overloaded with information! We're back at the room for a little downtime before this evening. They planned free time every afternoon, so we're only missing one lecture.
Somewhere, I've read that we only use a small percentage of our brains, but right now I feel like every area is used up. We've heard Dr. Baucham speak of Biblical Manhood, including Biblical submission, we've heard Doug Phillips speak of the problems with Hollywood, and how we have to take back the movie culture and ways we can do that, (I'll have to list them later). We've heard him speak about there only being two areas of education History and Science. We've hear Ken Ham speak of the problems with millions of years. And how we can counter the arguments. We had the opportunity to see the musical "Noah" Wednesday afternoon. Incredible. But as Mr. Ham pointed out there were 2 kinds of every creature on the ark... like kinds, not two different breeds of every kind. Still pretty amazing when they draw the curtains back and you are surrounded by "ark" This show did not have the normal "don't forget to buy your souveniers, for an incredibly ridiculous amount of money, although they did have souveniers available--that was nice. We also saw Kirby and Bambi Van Birch... illusionists. Bubba got chosen to volunteer on stage... he did great! As a "prize" for helping, he got a backstage pass, so him and Princess went to see their tigers-- tigers would be Princess's favorite animals. We ate at the "Hard Luck Diner" where the waitresses sing while you're dining... it's a fun place. Little Bit got his hair played with by one of the ladies. We've also had the pleasure of hearing Buddy Davis sing for us before the evening's lectures began. If you have children, his CD's are a must have. Most of his songs teach creation and many are based on catch phrases that Ken Ham uses in his lectures. Bubba and Little Bit are signed up for his sculpting workshop this evening. Should be fun for them.
Okay, time to go lay down and rest for a while. I'll try to get some better information up in the next few days.
Oh and did you know that next year is Darwin's birthday? And John Calvin's too? Wonder who will get more media coverage?

Jul. 2, 2008 - Go Dr. Laura
I know that there are some of you out there that don't think a lot of Dr. Laura. I haven't listened to her radio show in a long, long time because it makes me crazy how stupid some people can be and then they think they are going to get sympathy from Dr. Laura for "shacking up" with their boyfriend and their 3 kids conceived out of wedlock...
I like Dr. Laura. She tells it like it is. I don't like beating around the bush about things. Just tell me for goodness sake!
I am a particular fan of 2 of her books. "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands" will probably be required reading for our girls as they near the time of betrothal.
The other is "Bad Childhood, Good Life" great reading if you and your parents (particularly your Mother) did not get along during your childhood.
All this to say that the above is NOT the reason for this post. I have recently subscribed to her blog. And I really just wanted to AMEN her response to the issue she mentions today. It's about feminists getting up in arms about professional dress codes and particularly one man in Wichita, KS getting hate mail for mentioning that he thought panty hose looked more professional than bare legs. Here's the link.
Boy for wanting to be treated like men, they sure are acting like babies!

Jun. 24, 2008 - This is Your Brain
While I was taking my break, and advertisement came in our local paper for Embarq, our local phone company, many of you know it better by the name Sprint. The advertisement was for the dish network. Here is the catch line...
"A TV's potential is a terrible thing to waste. Get more out of your TV with over 100 channels at a great price"
Anybody remember the "old" advertising campaign for reading " a mind is a terrible thing to waste?" I guess this is supposed to be a play on that campaign. Ah yes, how terrible that you can spend a small fortune on a huge HD TV and dish, or cable and still have NOTHING (or very little) of value to watch on that big black box?
Personally, I find this a sad reflection on society. These days, government schools tout their political agendas and mainly forget about the 3 R's then get upset with those of us who actually choose to teach our children those 3 R's and the truth about their agendas...

Mar. 25, 2008 - "I Can Help" and ERA
Back in 1975, Billy Swan wrote and recorded a song "I Can Help." Here are the lyrics. Keep reading for a couple of thoughts on this.
If you've got a problem, I don't care what it is
If you need a hand, I can assure you this
I can help, I've got two strong arms, I can help
It would sure do me good to do you good,
Let me help
It's a fact that people get lonely, ain't nothing new
But a woman like you baby, should never have the blues
Let me help, I've got two for me, let me help
It would sure do me good to do you good
Let me help
When I go to sleep at night, you're always a part of my dream
Holding me tight and telling me everything I want to hear
Don't forget me baby, all you gotta do is call
You know how I feel about you, if I can do anything at all
Let me help
If your child needs a daddy, I can help
It would sure do me good to do you good,
Let me help
I've been thinking about these lyrics lately. You see this song has special meaning to me. My Uncle played the guitar solo in the middle of the song... sometimes I still hear it when I'm thrift shopping, sometimes other places too, and have to stop and smile (of course, all the people around me probably think I'm wacked out--oh well, he's my Uncle and I'm proud to claim him). Chip Young-- my Uncle
Shane has been working on converting cassette tapes to CD's (yes, he's starting a side business, he will also be able to do VHS to DVD, and hopes to be able to do super 8 to DVD, but that's another story...).
One of those tapes he's converted for practice was a radio interview with Shane's Mom on a local station in the 70's, when the fight for the ERA ammendment was in full force. I have been thinking about the irony of this song as it relates to ERA.
This song was in Billboard's #1 position for WEEKS, at the same time women were arguing for "equal rights" and burning their bras... Billy Swan was singing a HIT song about a man wanting to be a man and taking care of "his" woman. Anyone else see the humor in this?
Some other little tidbits about my sweet Uncle. He picked guitar for Elvis in his early days, and I'm nearly postive he played on every one of Elvis's albums, he also played at the Grand Ole Opry in the earlier days. When I was young, he owned the most beautiful antebellum home in Murfreesboro, TN and had his recording studio in the guest house for years. "Dolly" thinks he's the sweetest, and one of his closest friends is Jerry Reed. At one event, my brother and I got to meet Ray Stevens, around the time of "The Streak" and we both thought it was the coolest thing in the world--he seemed to be a funny, funny man. I almost got to meet Kenny Rogers (one of my all time favorite singers) because one of the guys working for him used to work in my Uncle's studio. I was backstage and LEFT-- Oh have I kicked myself many times for missing that opportunity, but I did get to have a coke with Rudy Gatlin after that concert. I also got to sit in on some of the sessions for Billy Swan's next album (too bad he was a "one hit wonder") and he autographed the album after it was done ... yep, I still have it.
And most important of all, his sweet wife's Biblical example of a Godly woman (you know the one that lives it by example and not nagging), helped show him the need for a Savior and he's now not only my Uncle but my brother in Christ. (Very amazing since I used to run beer for him and my dad while they were working on the "farm" many, many, years ago) God is so good!!!!!!!
*** Funny, the pic on the header of my new template was taken at my Aunt and Uncle's house a few weeks ago.

Mar. 11, 2008 - One More Link
This link is not so exciting as the last one about Chuck Norris. In fact, it's quite sad. Apparently, a private citizen is making a documentary about Planned Parenthood. A man called to find out how to make a large donation to be earmarked for black women to have abortions because affirmative action was causing problems for his white son, and he wants less blacks to compete with the whites. Apparently some of these PP workers were just about giddy with having a donation of this type... personally, I am appalled!!! Where is Jessie Jackson now????????
Shane said he watched about 5 minutes of it and it was enough for him. I'm on dial up so I honestly haven't watched it at all yet, but I can trust my hubby to give me accurate facts...
Here it is.
