Hey! Just catching up on your blog... your "Angel" story reminded me of the time we lost our golden retriever pup when we lived in Minnesota. "Raleigh" also rarely left our yard, plus it was the middle of the winter...we drove and walked around the neighborhood for about an hour, calling and calling. Our next door neighbor had a golden pup also, and she was in their fenced-in yard, just barking and barking ( they were at work). I finally decided to walk over to see what she was barking about, and there was our dog, looking out the window at us, from inside the neighbor's house!! Their housekeeper had come that morning, and had seen Raleigh in their front yard and shooed him inside, thinking it was Maggie. So .. we quickly called the neighbors at work and they came home and let Raleigh out and Maggie in. We all got a good laugh out of that one.
