So....

Hi everyone!

One of my little kittens died this morning.    I feel really bad about it because it's my fault.  They were too young to go without milk, and I haven't given them any in a long time.  One was dying, but I gave it a little half and half with water in it and I think it might get better.

I wrote a letter to Josh Groban, my favorite singer!  I haven't sent it yet (still waiting for the OK).  Stars don't really read most of their fan mail, so please pray mine will get through!  That would be so amazing!

If anyone reads this, please comment!

Our new church has fellowships every Wednesday night except during the summer.  Last night was the last one for a while... I'll miss them!  I had fun last night!  I hung out with my new friend Jessica.  I also watched Elijah in the nursery.  He was a good boy... he had fun cleaning up blocks!

Well, sorry this post is so boring!

Sheesh!

Goodness gracious!  I haven't posted in forever!  Sorry to those who come and check on my blog periodically...!  Well, here's an update...

I have a new little brother, Elijah Haynes Mylastname!  He was born July 9th, 2008!  He's a real cutie!

I am going into the 11th grade this year.

                 I now wear glasses.

My sister and I cleaned out our bedroom and it looks FABULOUS!!!

                 I still clog

And we have switched churches about 3 or 4 times since I last posted!  I like the church we are going to now, though.  A lot!

Christmas, New Years, and Honeysuckle

Sorry it's been so long.  Haven't felt like posting lately.  Hope ya'll had a good Christmas!  I know I did!  I got some great stuff!  I got woodburning stuff, the game CLUE, a Sketch By Number, beads, a puzzle, 20 Questions (handheld), a watch, earrings (that are nowhere to be found), a horse poster book and calendar, a shirt, bath stuff, latch hook kit, green popsicle soap, a Webkinz horse, and noise putty, among other things.  It was great!  On New Years Eve, Daddy gave Mama a huge diamond ring for their anniversary and we went to a New Years Party.  We stayed 15 minutes till midnight.  I watched the world record of the longest dirtbike jump be broken by Robbie Maddison.  I've become a huge fan of Josh Groban!  He has an awesome voice.  I've been working with Honey a lot lately.  I've even tacked her up a couple of times!  Daddy helped me with the bridle.  Guess that's it.  Later!

Nothing New

Hey!  It's been a while.  Sorry!  I've been working with Honey almost every day lately.  She is learning to walk on a lead rope.  I can't say she's mastered it yet, but I'm waiting.  I can't wait until next year!  Then we (me and Daddy) can start breaking them to ride (and barrel race).  Both of the guinea pigs died this week, but I don' t really care, to tell you the truth.  I was getting tired of cleaning out their cage.  Bullet is getting big!  My novel is coming along well, I guess.  I guess that's it.

Sorry for rambling on and on!

                , Lindsey

4 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS!!!

Small Talk

YO .  Guess what happened yesterday? HMMM? Dumb Coco bit me.  I couldn't do anything about it either.  Oh, well.  All I can say is that for Coco's sake, she'd better not bite me again. Coco is the one who kicked me also.   We are learning another dance in clogging!  It's called the Buttermilk Churn.  The people who named some of the moves need help.  One is called poo on shoe.    I'm sure you can imagine what that looks like.  My book is coming along pretty well.  I have 3 Christmas parties to go to.  1 on the 16th, 1 on the 22nd, and another on the 24th.  YAY!  Has anyone heard Josh Groban sing?  He is THE BOMB!!

Willowtree10's dog Clifford died.  It was awful.  He was a little angel, too.Poor Clifford.  Sorry Willow.

I guess that's it.

Animal Issues

SHEEESH!!!!!

Guess stinkin' what!  Wednesday my Baby Bluebird died.  What happened was Monday my sister's cat Mary came in my room and half killed her, but we thought she was OK.  Guess not.  I got to be with her when she died, though.  She is up in Heaven with my other 3 parakeets, Darlin, Coco, and Cloudy.  I can see her now.

I think I'm going to breed parakeets.  I'll start with one pair of green ones.  Does anyone know how many eggs they lay and how many times you can breed them a year??? Let me know!!

Then, TODAY, guess who came for a little visit?!  The palomino.  He didn't bring any friends this time, thank goodness, but STILL.  My grandparents came over and kept him from tearing down the fence for hours.  They finally let him in our fence and left.  About two hours later, the neighbor's teenage son comes and gets him.  Then I went in.  After a little while of watching and being downstairs, I went upstairs and looked out the window and holy molie, OUR horses are out and in the feed buckets!  I had to call my grandparents to come again and help.  We like to never got them in the fence again.  So far, nothing else has happened.  It's kind of funny, the dude who came over said someone else left their gate open (the second time for that excuse )  and then turned around and didn't shut ours correctly.  HMMM!  I think we have our culprit!!   Ha ha ha!!!

I'm worn out.

I hatched a new batch of chicks this week.  9 of them.  They are mixes of either Rhode Island Red/Black Star or reds/White Leghorns.  My chickens are neat because they have a lot of different breed influences!

My novel is underway!  I'm thinking on calling it Fight or Flight? but I don't think that one will last very long.  Other people seem to like it, though, so I may keep it.

I think that's enough for now.  Thanks to listening to all my crazy problems!  Post a comment!

One of the Worst Weeks EVER (besides Thanksgiving)

*Sigh*

Tuesday was a BIG day.

While we were doing schoolwork, two Alagasco trucks drive up.  Mama went upstairs to see what the trouble was, and the Alagasco people show up that some horses are out.  They weren't our horses.  We have these neighbors who board horses, but they don't have a decent fence, so their horses get out.  Guess whose horses they were?  Theirs.  Anyway, two of the most beautiful palomino horses I have ever seen (a stallion and a mare) come right up to the house and start messing with our stuff.  The mare breaks into the chicken food, so we have to drag the gigantic bucket INTO the house.  Then, the stallion breaks into the horse food, so we drag it into the house as well.  One of our three mares (Lola, the 19 yo Quarter Horse) is in season, so the stallion starts messing with her.  The fillies are trying to protect Lola, so Coco attempts  to kick one of the palominos through the fence and, in the process, gets her hoof stuck.  She pulls it out.  The dogs are going CRAZY, and Lucy almost gets stepped on.  The stallion is trying to break through the fence to get to Lola.  Several people have already stopped by, including the sheriff, who did nothing.  Us kids go into the house, and we hear Mama up there shooting at the palominos with the pellet gun.  They only flinch.  Eventually, the mare goes back to her house, but the stallion gets stuck in the fence.  Me and Mama cut the wire, so he was in the fence and chasing MY HONEYSUCKLE all over creation.  Then some of the neighbors come and get the horses.  Daddy got home when they left, then some more of the neighbors came and helped fix the fence their stallion tore down.  While they are fixing the fence, this little stray puppy who had been shot walked up to the house.  The whole time the puppy was in the cardboard box in the livingroom, he was making weird little internal injury sounds.  We knew he was a goner.

Wednesday wasn't so bad.  It was my brother Zach's 5th birthday!

No horses came, and the puppy was making improvement.

Thursday was cool, except...

The horses came back, but with a colt this time.  The neighbors come quicker this time, and no damage was done.  I was in the front yard chunking rocks at the stallion when he came to near to the fence.  Thanksgiving with my family on Mama's side was great.  The puppy was doing so well he slept in my bed with me.

Nothing happened Friday except we named the healing puppy Bullet

Today was clogging practice, which was fun, but I busted it when we were doing chugs.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving with my family on Daddy's side and church !!

No one came to the performance on Nov. 10, but we did good.

Well, that's 'bout it.

Love,

Big News

HI!!

I don't know why, but I really really really love snakes (Yeah, I am Snakegirl also)!  I've done a lot of research, and I convinced myself I'd write a book about snakes.  I wrote a letter to Vision Forum and asked if they'd be interested in a Creation based book about snakes.  They wrote back (with amazing speed) and said they'd love to review my finished work and maybe carry it!  YAY!!!  I need to get started, so check out Snakegirl's (my) blog and see if you like what I've written so far.  DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT!!!  Thanks so much!  I'll post later!

-Lindsey

P.S.  Nov. 10 is coming up FAST .

ANOTHER AWARD!!

YAY!  Sorry I haven't posted in so long!  Piedmont was really great.  It was very nerve-racking, though.  There were like 1,000 people watching.  And, the boards we were dancing on were uneven and I kicked one and messed up  !  The whole thing was neat though.  Also, on the 30th, we did a performance for some senior citizens, but I don't really think they liked us too much. .  We went way too fast on both songs, the stage was plastic and really loud, and none of us did it perfectly.  Oh, well!  We have another gig coming up on Nov. 10.  I am SO nervous!  .  There is a reptile show once a month that I REALLY wanna go to, but we had clogging performances on both the Oct. and Nov. dates .  That stinks.. Maybe Dec.!  Has anyone seen Meet the Robinson's?  That is probably one of my faves.  To the point... MBF awarded me the Beautiful Blog award!  I award:

Fancyfeet: My sister who is new to blogging, but has a gorgeous blog!

Frogiggie89: She has the CUTEST froggie template!  I  frogs!

WillowTree10: One of my best friends who has a REALLY cool fall template! (BTW, she made the award!)

Sorry!  I can only think of 3 people.  If you have a beautiful blog and weren't awarded, send me hatemail.

This is for the winners to put on their blogs.

Ciao!  Lindsey

Barn Party

Hi!  Sorry it's been so long since I last posted!  Anyway, we went to a barn party last Saturday at a friend of mine's house (really at their barn).  It was fun.  I am SO BAD at square dancing!  Ask WillowTree10. .  She was my partner.  Square dancing really makes me look dumb because I never really know what I am doing!  I wore a new hat and new boots.  The hat was $3.00 and the boots were like $50.00.  I paid for them with my own money because I didn't need any shoes.  Our clogging gigs are getting closer and closer  !  We are doing one on Oct. 13 in Piedmont.  We're doing it on a trailer or something.  Our tap shoes came Saturday, right after lessons.   Too bad!  We learned the rest of the dance this past Saturday.  Including the wagon wheel.  SHEESH!  That is SO hard!!! Well, that's enough for now!

Howdy

Well HI.  Right now I am at BlenderBoy and MBF's house.  On their computer.    Anyway,  horses are REALLY hard to train.  My Honeysuckle likes to bite.  She'll look me right in the eye and nibble on my shoulder waiting on me to get her in trouble.  I guess to see what I'll do.  Well, she does get in trouble.  When I was riding our 18 year old Quarter horse Lola, Coco, the other yearling, just ran up and started bucking and trying to get me off of Lola and just about gave me a heart attack.  She ALMOST kicked me.  Oh, well.  She calmed down after a little while.  That's pretty much it.  Gotta go!

Bye!
