Sep. 21, 2009 - The 3rd Wolf: Chapter 2
Exploring:Chapter 2
The next morning I was tired, but I knew I had to do some searching.
Uncle Bip made some chocolate chip pancakes they happened to have a bit to much salt.
After breakfast I went up to Uncle Bip "Hey there Maxy!" Uncle Bip called me Maxy a lot I tolerate it somehow. "Uncle Bip...can I go walk around in the woods?" Uncle Bip had the same expresion on his face as Jane did, I could tell he didn't want me out all alone. "Well, won't you let Thomase come along with you."
Thomase is Uncle Bip's son and Helen is his daughter.
"But I was really wanting to go down by myself, I'm ten and a half years old. Plus you said once I was ten I could go down by the woods by myself." I was hoping I didn't make Uncle Bip mad, I mean I like Thomase and all that but it would be nice to go in peace to the woods instead of having a blabbering mouth.
"Well, I did tell you that." He started to rub his beard "I guess you can." I tried to hold the exitment in but I didn't do a very good job. Uncle Bip made me feed his two horses first.
After feeding the horses I ran down the big hill and after stumbeling a couple of times I made it down the big hill, that we sled down every winter.
Now the real question is were did this story take place at?
I was torn between, going back and asking Uncle Bip where the story took place or to keep looking.
I finally made a decision. After thinking about it, it wouldn't be a good idea to go back and ask Uncle Bip because then he'd want to come along. But neither could I keep looking because I'm clueless of where the scene happened.
Before I could completly decide Uncle Bip called out "It's time for dinner!" I was really hungry, until I figured out I had missed lunch. So I didn't want to miss dinner.
It was a very hard climb but I made it. Once dinner dishes were scraped and cleaned Uncle Bip pulled me to the side and asked me "Maxy, are you looking for the location of the 2nd wolf story?" I looked at him puzzled, how did he know about that? "Yes..." "Then I think I have something for you."
