Oct. 6, 2006 bee sting reaction.
| This summer I was swimming in our creek and suddenly I got stung three times. I had a really bad reaction and I had to go with the paramedics to the hospital. The paramedics gave me a teddy bear, I named it Prayer because it was praying. I had to have allergy testing done and we found out I am allergic to all the kinds of bees, wasps, honeybees, yellowjackets, hornets etc. So now I have to carry a bee sting kit that has an epi pen which an epinepherine shot that stops an allergic reaction. Now we are worried that my older brother might be allergic becuase he got stung the other day and got a few hives. I hope he's not. It's bad enough having me allergic. |

Jun. 15, 2006 Once Upon A Time When Horses Ran Free
| In a far away land a baby horse was born. His mother named him Spirit. Spirit grew up fast. He raced with the eagle and like his father before him there came responsibility. One day the twin colts were playing and a mountain lion ran at them. Spirit managed to get to the colts before the mountain lion did. Spirit bucked and reared at the mountain lion. Finally he scared it away. That night Spirit saw a light. He called his mother to him, he told her he would be back. The light Spirit saw was a fire. He was curious. The horses tied to a post warned him not to go but Spirit ignored them and went closer. The men woke up and saw Spirit and got on their horses and ran after him. Then they caught Spirit and took him to the corral to break him. The End. |

May. 19, 2006 Guatamala Max!
| A few days ago I went to Seattle to see my new cousin Max. He was so cute and small; I wished I could hold him the whole time but my other cousin got impatient becuase she wanted to play house with me. My Uncle Jeff and Aunt Ellie adopted him from Guatamala. They brought us a Guatamalan blanket, it is cool. I used it on the way home when I was cold and it made me hot. I wish they didn't live so far away, then I could see Max every day. But they live in Alaska so we only see them once or twice a year. When I saw Max I thought he was the cutest baby in the world! I found out that he likes bright colors best. I sat in a bright red chair and he always wanted to get to the bright red. I was wearing a flowered dress and he liked that too. Baby Max can't talk yet but he's pretty strong even though he's only 5 1/2 months old. I love my new cousin! |

| I am in goat 4h, I have 3 goats. Their names are Sabbath, Jasmina and Eve. (My brothers have 5 other goats too) Jasmina and Eve are dairy goats and Sabbath is my packgoat. Our goat 4h leader is named Donna. 4h is very fun and I can't wait to show my goats at fair. I have shown at Spring Youth Fair but this will be my first year showing at Thurston County Fair. We have 2 dogs and we take them to a dog training class. The teacher is named Mrs. Turley. Thunder is the dog I train and Piper is the dog Zach trains. Tomorrow is the last class but we will still be working with the dogs for a long time. We have 12 chickens, Daffodil and Ginger Feathers are my favorites. I found a weird egg this morning, it wasn't hard, it was soft and squishy. It was so weird that I have to keep it to show my dad when he gets home. We have one rabbit, we used to have two but mine died last week. His name was Benjamin. Zach's rabbit is named Peter and he is at least 7 years old, Zach has had him since he was 3. We have 3 cats, Sugar, Rosie and Phoebus. Sugar is my favorite. I have 3 fish. I used to have 5 but 2 died. One of them was born in our tank and is getting bigger every day. His name is Spotty because he is black with white spots. The other two are named Lemon and Minnie Mouse. THE END. |

| My name is Addy. I am homeschooled along with my 3 brothers and 1 sister. Our teacher is named Jennifer(our mom) and our bike man is named Chris(our dad). My favorite things about homeschooling are handwriting, reading and history. I like being home with my family and neighbors. I like having plenty of time to work with my goats and dogs. I also really like taking piano lessons and horseback riding lessons. THE END. |
