The "STAR FRUIT"
I had a friend remind me of this fruit she had found and tried once from the commissary. I was excited to find it this last shopping trip!
We weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised! I would describe it as a grape/apple consistency. It was sweet, tart and mild all in one.

We also celebrated the birth day of our Maegen Nicole.
Born on valentines day with an outline of a heart on her forhead (so called "angel's kiss"), no kidding. Still shows up when she gets "flustered."

HEY YALL. HAVEN'T BEEN ON HERE MUCH LATELY. OUR FAMILY HAS ENJOYED OUR DAY OFF TOGETHER, HOPE YOU HAVE DONE THE SAME.
GUESS WHAT!?!! WE ARE PLANNING ON ATTENDING THE WILD'S HOMESCHOOL CONVENTION THIS SEPTEMBER. IT'S A FAMILY CAMP. THEY WILL HAVE SPEAKERS AND ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGE GROUPS!! I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS IN STORE FOR US DURING THIS CONVENTION!! THE KIDS ARE SO HAPPY!! Merry CHRISTmas everyone. I pray you are all surrounded by family and friends. We are truly blessed by the Lord in all these things and more! We are having a wonderful day celebrating the birth of our saviour, Jesus Christ. The house is busy yet quiet right now. Everyone is doing their own thing and some are playing together with new toys. Now that the early morning noise of rustling gift paper has finally subsided, we have the perfect chance to reflect on God's perfect gift to us along with our earthly gifts our family has bestowed upon us. God is so good!

Hi there. Hubby came home with some news yesterday. We will be moving this summer. Had to happen sooner or later. At least we already have friends there to show us the ropes. Moves can be exciting or depressing. I always make my home wherever I go. I always am content wherever I may be. But leaving my friends and church........that's the hard part. We have much to do before we even leave here, like.........finish building the upstairs! So, please keep us in prayer!

Boy am I glad to be home now. Just made it in from some Christmas shopping..I am worn out. It is not easy to shop with 4 boys all under the age of 8. Anyway.............we had some fun and we had temper tantrums and then we all had some candy, then everything was fine!!! Then, back to the truck to watch the Chronicles of Narnia while the girls finished up their shopping with each other. Everything turned out well and I do believe we are done shopping now.
Need to get the children ready for bed. Early to bed, early to rise??? That must be the case for Sunday morning!

Wednesday, November 22, 2006 - Meet my Max!

Hi everyone. Thanksgiving eve here and the pies are in the oven, thanks to my Maegen! Just counting my blessings here and thinking of my family! So I thought I'd introduce a child a day so you can get to know all of us better!
Meet Max, he's the youngest of 6. He's the youngest of 4 boys. He's a 3 yr. old. His personality is sweet and loveable. He's my early morning snuggle bunny. He wakes me everymorning and wants to know if I will make him coffee! Neither he or I function without our morning coffee! He has always talked really well but has made up his own words like "yoom" he uses it for "yoom gonna like this." Is that a way out in the woods kinda language or what? I had a friend once who talked like that. It cracks me up. Should I correct him? Naw. He loves to be read to and rocked. When I verbally correct him, he comes to me later and asks me, "Are you sorry to being angry to me?" wow, Do I really sound that angry? Better check myself! He is a friend of butterflies. They actually do hang around him like they want to play with him. Cute, huh?
I love him so and I am so thankful to the Lord for this special blessing of a son!

Hey yall. here we are with the "3 years later" photo (except for Daniel and Sean). We sure are enjoying our visit. We had a nice day today. We took James to the beach. We saw a really, really interesting sea creature. Not sure what it was. When I get that photo on here, I'll surely be asking for ideas. It actually looked like a furry brown potato!!! We watched it move as if it was breathing.
Tommorrow we plan on visiting the Chocolate Tree. Maybe I should just sit in the car. The variety of candies and chocolates and the aroma..........makes it simply irresistable!
We had a nice evening at church together. Miranda's friends finally got to put a face to the name, "James"

WELL, TODAY WAS A RAINY, RAINY DAY BUT NEEDLESS TO SAY, THANKS TO MAE, WE ENJOYED THE AROMA OF A CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE BAKING IN THE OVEN!! IT WAS GREAT. RANDA MADE A PRETTY DRIZZLE ICING TO TOP IT OFF. MAYBE hskubes WILL SHARE THAT PHOTO OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT. WE ENJOYED THEIR FELLOWSHIP ALONG WITH THE CAKE. OH, LUNCH WAS YUMMY TOO! TODAY MATT AND MAE BOTH LOST LOOSE TEETH WITHIN 10 MIN. OF EACH OTHER, NEAT. THEY WERE BOTH EXCITED. I GUESS I'TS FUN TO BE TOOTHLESS, WHEN YOU'RE YOUNG? THEY SURE LOOK CUTE!
LASTNIGHT WE WERE AWAKENED BY THE SMOKE DETECTOR ALARM. WOW, IS WAS LOUD, BUT I'M THANKFUL IT WORKS. NOTHING WAS BURNING, OUR HEATING UNIT JUST SMELLED TOASTY AS WE NEEDED TO REPLACE THE FILTER. ALWAYS COATED WITH EVER LASTING, ETERNAL ANIMAL HAIR. UGH!!! EVERYONE WOKE UP EXCEPT FOR MALACHI. THE SAME THING HAPPENED LAST WINTER, FUNNY HOW WE FORGET THOSE THINGS. ANYWAY, NO ONE WAS SHOOK UP AND WE ALL WENT BACK TO BED.

It's been a busy day today but a good one.
We got new mattresses today, so anxious to try it out!!!! The best part of it all will be when I'm slightly awakened by 3 little boys who crawl in bed with me to wake me nearly everymorning............and there will be plenty of space for us all!!! Actually I may wake up with all six in bed with me as they are all anxious to try out mom and dad's new bed too. And............Hubby suprised me when he came home with a nice down filled comforter to go with the bed!!!!!!!! Praise the Lord!!!
After school the kids had a blast outside playing in our king size box spring and mattress boxes!!!! Weeee HOooooooooooo! They turned into space ships for the boys until time for football practice! What fun!
