This year for Christmas I am very few things and I am enjoying it so is my pocket book. I usually send out cards to everyone we know, get the kids pictures taken and send those out, bake like a mad woman for a week and than make up little bake good gifts for about 60 or more people and than the kids and I make gifts for a couple of weeks to hand out to their friends not to mention the decorations boy I tell you we generally are all decorated by now in fact we always have put the tree up the day after thanksgiving not this year this year we are waiting till the 16th of December why? Because I just want to. So non of the above is being done and I am really enjoying it. The kids have asked to decorate so I pulled out some things for them to set around and we changed the table cloth from autumn to winter and than we put out a few things on the porch with some lights. The other thing I have not done is gone bonkers with the presents this year. I generally get swept up in the holiday excitment and end up adding to what I already have and what I really don't need. So there you have it a relaxed Christmas that is until Christmas day when we return to my parents house and the crazy stuff starts.

I can't wait to see how cute your house looks! You have such great tastes in decorating.
We are going a lot lighter on Christmas this year than we did last.
This is Beths last year to put the angel on the top of the tree. :(
We figured out years ago that if we had the kids take turns putting it on that she would be the one to do it on her 18th birthday. Where did the years go?
