My life has been so crazy these past 24 months. Howver, now that we are settled I am praying about finding some way to generate a small income from home. OK, I have 2 words to describe how I feel about starting school on Monday...................................

Did you ever have a moment in your life when you simply said "HOW did we get HERE???"? Well, that is where my family is as I type!

We lived in Brooklyn, NY until 8 and 1/2 years ago and now we live in a small town in Pennsylvania. Our life is so different from how we lived most of our life.

We bought our first home and through a 'series of unfortunate events", we lost that home, rented for 2 1/2 years and now we live in a sweet, little house that the Lord simply GAVE to us. As an early inheritance and an intrest free loan, my in-laws bought this home for us! WOO HOO! God is so good to our family! A home with no mortgage in this day and age! Imagine His goodness to us.

Living in this small town is new for us in a lot of ways. In the city, everything was convenient. The stores, the gas station, the doctors, etc. Then we moved to a very out of the way place where it took an HOUR just to get milk. After that, we lived on the outskirts of small town and the "city" of Scranton, PA. Only 20 min drive to the big stores and 10 min to the local. In the city, we lived on the same street for years and barely new our neighbors! Here, the mailman knows our name and the librarian wonders why we haven't been in this week! Don't get me wrong. I loved living in the city for many reasons! But this small town life is just the thing to calm me down and really enjoy the pace!

We live in the cutest town of Honesdale, PA.  We can walk to K-mart, Payless Shoe store, and the grocery market. The main area is like a Thomas Kinkaid painting and reminds me of the fictionsl towm of Mitford! It is like the best of both worlds!

Yet I wonder, how did we really get here? iInever would have thought we would end up living here homeschooling our four AMAZING children! I thought  we would homeschool in NYC, I would work part time at some point while my husband spent half his life commuting to NYC so we could afford a $2,000 a month mortgage payment! Instead, we live in this house, mortgage free and my wonderful husband workls for a small local pest control company. We have more now than we ever had before! I am amazed at His faithfulness.

So, that's why I chose that name for my blog. My thoughts aren't really important to most people. I have no goal of changing anyones life because of blogging. But I think it will be fun. I am finally settled enough to think I can keep up with blogging on a regular basis. i have tried 4 or 5 times before and it never worked. We'll see how this goes..............
