:P Yeah, I was at VBS all last week. And now I have all these lovely songs going around in my head...
"I've got DNA, I'm fearfully and wonderfully made, I've got DNA..."
"Rightside up turned upside down, when man sinned God cursed the ground..."
Yeah. Actually, they're not that bad, which is good, cause I'm likely to have them stuck in my head for all eternity and then some....So, how did VBS go?
For me, it was rather hectic. Monday I ran around doing everything and anything, and making a mess. :P Ask the 3rd and 4th graders...it's true. Tuesday I did a lot of stuff, but nothing in particular, Wednesday the lovely and wonderful Ms. Michelle wasn't there, so I played secretary...and Emma came over at an unearthly hour that morning...like 7:15. If you think that's early, think again. We (me, Daniel, Tara, Stuphy, Duane-o, Joely Canolies, and Jeremy) went to see Kung Fu Panda. That movie is AMAZING!!!!!!! Just in case you were wondering. :P I really actually loved it. I thought it was funny, had a point, and the animation was actually quite good. The song at the end was awesome too..and rather catchy. I actually haven't seen Duane-o laugh that much...ever. It was really funny. I wanna see it again. Anyways, so, we went out to eat at Taco Bell beforehand...(it's tradition, actually) and then we went and saw the movie...and then came home. It was late when we got back....so....I was tired. And I got up then. Agh. But, I did like to get to talk to Emma all day long. That was rather wonderful. :P We had a lot of fun, and I think....yeah, anyways, moving on. Wednesday night was family night, and was good...except for that I made this slideshow to show, and um....I did it five minutes before the thing started. Lovely, no? But, other than that, it went really well. Friday....*sigh*. It went the usual way....except for that Daniel was in the skit that day....and I cried during his part...really hard. Anyways, yeah.
That night was the cooking class at Tara's house....so we mostly watched American Idol (she had to show me David Archuleta, David Cook, Carly Smithson, Blake Lewis, and a bunch of people I don't remember their names of)...and then she and I watched Gotta Go my Own Way from Highschool Musical 2. Which I've never seen...and I want to, very badly. Just cause that song is amazing, if you ask me. So, we had fun...oh, and we went out to the chicken houses twice. On the four-wheeler. Yup. We did. And I'm alive!!!!!!!
Saturday was Megan and Aaron's wedding....they were so cute.... :P I can't believe they're married! Man....
So that was the week of VBS. I'm posting part of my book that I'm writing on my writing blog...
It's www.homeschoolblogger.com/writtenwithlove and don't ask what the title of the book is. :P Anyways, I prolly should go do something....
"You must give up the illusion of control." -Kung Fu Panda
"You know what happens when I flex my pinky."
"Master Shifu did not teach you that!"
"Nope. I figured it out. Skadoosh." -Kung Fu Panda
