She sleeps!!!

We finally figured out how to get Gillian to sleep through the night!  It only took us 2 months to realize all she needed was a relaxing cup of Chamomile tea right before bed.  Who would have thought

(there was a pictture of a Stash Tea bag in Sandman PM flavor) not sure what happened to the picture)

This is our favorite brand of tea.  Both of the girls drink a cup while we watch Wheel Of Fortune. ( Hey, it's an eductaional show.  My girls have learned what vowels are :o) )
Of course the tea only works in conjunctione with the music therapy.  I have tried just the tea with no music and we had a sleepless night.    I will say it has been so nice this past week not getting up in the middle of the night.  I  do think it will take us a good month or so to get caught up on all that lost sleep.

I am so glad that you are getting some sleep! I am doubly glad that you shared this tea in your post. I will be sure to pass the info on to Corin asap. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing! I'm so glad you got some sleep!

Our Dexter has begun getting up and wandering the house (usually the kitchen) during the night. He's completely silent, so we don't know how often it actually happens. Last night was multiple attempts to get out from behind the baby gate between 2 and 3 a.m. (we heard the crashing noises).

He's got a cold right now, so we just resorted to Nyquil :-D I'll try the chamomile tea once I don't have an excuse to liquor my baby up before bed ;-)

Corin~
I was getting ready to do nyquil and she didn't have a cold :o) Another thing that has worrked for us in the past is the Glade Plug Ins in Lavendar scent. We would just plug it in before she went to bed and it would smell up the room all night. I hope one of these helps after his cold is gone. If not let me know and I have more tricks up my sleeve :o) Sometimes they work sometime they don't. You just have to try it all.
