Quilted Bible Cover ~ Although the Lord doesn't care whether our Bibles have a nifty cover, it's still a fun thing to make and use! Not to mention it can be very handy for holding paper and pen for sermon notes.
Stenciled Bible Verses ~ I saw this done at a church once, and the result was pretty and charming. Get some lettering stencils, choose an appropriate verse, color, and wall, and get painting! You could also stencil your verse on other things.
Another way to burn verses into your memory, almost literally, is to burn them onto a piece of wood using a woodburning tool. This technique is also called pyrography. It produces a simple, yet lovely, effect if you merely write out your verse in plain letters with your woodburning iron, and then decorate it with pressed flowers.
Still another way to display your favorite verses would be to print or write them out on a piece of paper, decorate it, frame it, and then hang it on your wall. You could also choose to use counted cross-stitch to embroider your verse.

Practical Endpapers ~ Do you have a favorite cookbook? Fit it out to be even more useful and user friendly!
Homemaking Journal ~ This isn't exactly a craft, but I love the idea so much! Pass down your own tips, tricks, and favorites to future generations, with this charming idea.

I tried finding some fun, unique, or attractive crafts to link to for this week, but didn't come up with much. Most of the crafts I found were really meant for the 4th of July, but could also double for Veteran's Day.
However, my Mother gave me a great idea, and so here it is!
Knit Your Bit was started by The National World War II Museum in 2006. I couldn't really find anywhere that told why it was started, but my guess is that it shows appreciation to the veterans, as well as keeps them warm.
All you have to do is select a pattern, knit a scarf, include washing instructions and a few other things, and mail it to the address that is provided.

Hot Water Bottle Cover ~ Knitters, here is a project to make your hot water bottle cute and comfortable.
Cooking and crafts go together, in a homey sort of way. It's amazing though, how many tutorials there are for sewn food, crocheted cakes, and knitted cookies. I'm not really sure what the point is, but if you're interested, here are a few, along with some other, more useful tutorials.
Budding Chef Hat ~ I can't imagine a kid not wanting one of those tall white chef hats. Now you can make one for your own culinary prodigy.
Child's Apron Tutorial ~ Every cook should have an apron, and this one is downright adorable!
Edwardian Apron Pattern ~ I included this pattern for people like me; people who like Jane Austen, Charles Dickons, or even just anything old-fashioned.
Cottage-Inspired Apron ~ This apron has a bit of a more modern feel to it, but is still darling.
Piece O' Cherry Pie ~ Again, I'm not quite sure what the point of knitted food is, but one does have to admit that it is cheerful!
Cupcake Pincushion ~ Now this pattern does have a purpose, even if it doesn't have to do with food. It's something to feast your eyes on when in the middle of a sewing project.
Tribble Trivet ~ Protect your table or counter-tops with this crocheted piece. With a bit of tweaking color-wise, you could have a lovely addition to your kitchen.
