I thought I would share with you the flowers my 11 yr old son picked for me. He said these was for Mother's Day. I thought he did good on the arrangement. Now then I will share a picture I just painted yesterday.
Son got a good lesson this morning. We had to run to Wal-Mart and when we came out this little old lady stopped us and asked if we could give her a ride to her apartment. Now this lady is different from alot of people. She goes around singing praises to Jesus everywhere.Which I personally think it is cool. But others are not as receptive with it. Infact, she said she has even been asked to leave a church because she was so open with her praises and singing. How sad. I admit sometimes she does seem to go overboard but ,hey, this woman (from talking with her) has an abundance of faith. Well anyways, I had never talked to this lady before today and I thought she was in the nursing home or something and the town bus takes them places. So I was a little scared to give her a ride thinking that someone might think I was kidnapping her or something. She assured me that she lives in her own housing apartment and that she pays her own way. So we gave her a ride home. She sang praises and talked about Jesus all the way. Son just sat there and listened to her. I couldn't tell what he was thinking. So she asked us to help her take her groceries in her room so we did. It was really nice talking to her. We left and son told me that that had really made him feel good to help her. He said he could feel the love and peace this woman was showing. What a lesson for sure. It has uplifted our day to be around this lady. Have a wonderful day. |
