Warming up `

Well it is finally warming up lately. Son and I finally got the pool going this weekend. I took my first dip yesterday. It said it was 75 but it sure felt colder. lol Son has been swimming for about 2 weeks now. Kids can handle it pretty cold. I remember when I was a kid, I didn't care how cold it was, it was water and I loved water. lol

We have been mowing the lawn alot lately cause it is growing so fast. Hard to keep up with it all. But I love having a big yard. It keeps the snakes back farther.

I am still doing my paintings. I have found an art site that I really enjoy being a part of. They started this monthly challenge of putting up a photo or something and we all do our version of the picture. Here is my version of it and then the next is the original. This is not my kind of painting but it was cool doing the challenge. For some reason my yellow doesn't show up as much as it really has on it. It is 11x14 in size

Now I think I am going to try my hand at roosters and hens. So far it is taking me one day to do these paintings and that is stopping and taking breaks and doing other things too. So that's not too bad. I hope to get alot painted and eventually sell them.

Hope you all are doing good and having a great week. Son is really enjoying his time off school. Ok, gotta go now.

Ah, soooooo good! Well, the temp dropped and now it is close to 70 - went from 100 to 70. Amazing.

You are doing such a great job with your pictures. I have to admit, at 75 the water is to nippy for me!

Kids can definitely handle much colder water than adults! When the ocean temps get down, it amazes me that ds1 can still stand to get in.

I love this painting - very relaxing and tranquil.

What I can't figure out is which one is the photo and which one is the one you painted?
