First we will start off with the farm part of the day. I took son out and taught him how to spike hay and then back it up and stack it in rows. He had tried this before but just thought he couldn't do it. I told him there is no such thing as can't do it when you are on a farm and so I rode with him and showed him step by step what to do and let him do it. It took him a couple tries but he got the hang of it and off he went. This is a bigger tractor than he is used to driving and he had never backed it up to stack the hay cause dad would be there waiting and do it for him. So he was pretty proud when he finally got the hang of things and did really good doing it too.

Ok, now onto the fair part of the day. He entered his sweet banana and gypsy peppers and won 2nd place on 3 plates of them and then 1st place on golden wax beans.

Now it is riding time. I couldn't believe the height of these rides he rode.

This one wasn't too bad on height but it would go up and then just drop. YIKES!

This one was tall. He rode it several times.

My son likes to drive the tractor around too, but I don't think he has moved any round bales yet. It does look complicated. I bet your son was proud!
Congrats on winning at the fair. Awesome job!
I would not have been riding those rides. Anything that spins around like that makes me motion sick. I think the people around me would probably prefer that not happen also. lol
