Welcome to HsKubes' HomeSchool Haven

Tending to our sheep...

" Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks,
and to look well to thy herds."
~ Proverbs 27:23

A conservative, Christian, military family's journey in relaxed home education. A haven where academics are secondary to spiritual things and we strive to aim our precious 'arrows' toward the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mail Call... "Created to Be His Helpmeet"...

Posted in Marital Musings

I ordered the book "Created to Be His Helpmeet"

from the Biblical Womanhood Online website

on Monday morning and was surprised

when I discovered it in my mailbox today!

I have done a lot of reading and study on this topic

and I look forward to reading this book, too.

I'm glad to hear you got it so quickly. I know there is a lot of controversy over this book. I don't know why people get into such a huff about things. It's very simple to read it, take what you can use, and forget about the rest. I personally had some parts speak to my heart, others didn't apply, but I still enjoyed it. Let us know how you like it.

I am still reading my copy... it has taken me awhile b/c I really have to "chew on" each chapter... think it over and let it sink in!

I found it very helpful to keep a notebook/journal as I read the book. I was better able to study in more depth, plus I'll be able to refer to the notes in the future. This is definitely a book that you will read again and again.
