This morning my dear husband and son

went to the men's prayer breakfast at church.

At this event, the men gather together

for prayer, breakfast, fellowship,

and to do maintenance on the church.

My men are usually gone for a few hours.

During that time I baked a loaf of sourdough bread

and spent some time packing a few boxes in Will's room.

Ally and I put a little laundry away and cleaned a little

as the lil' girls helped and played.

When the men arrived home

I laid down for a little while

(I have felt a little feverish/achy the last couple days

 and my jaw and ear have been hurting a bit).

I was nice to rest a little.

Now, this afternoon, darling hubby and Ally

have taken off for a father/daughter 'date'

to play 18 holes of golf (which all of our children enjoy).

He tries to alternate between Will and Ally due to $$

and this was Ally's turn. She was quite excited.

It sure blesses my heart when I see my beloved

turning his heart towards his children

and, in return, turning his children's hearts towards him.

What a tremendous blessing that is!
