I can honestly say that we really didn't do much today.

It's true.

 

But, of what we did do, I thought I would share.

Our Beth's birthday is coming up on Wednesday.

Today we received a package from my mom.

It was filled with some presents for Beth

and with a couple for the other children, too.

(Thanks, Mom, for including all of them.

 That really means alot.)

 

Well... I know I probably should have waited until her birthday

to let her open the gifts...

but as you can probably guess...

I didn't.

 

They had lots of fun opening the box and all the gifts inside.

(Then had fun cleaning up all the wrapping paper later.)

 

Well, one of the things they received was a punch balloon.

You know those balloons you blow up with rubber bands attached

so you can punch them back and forth?

After blowing up the three younger ones' balloons (phew!),

they had a ball playing with them...

 

 

 

 

It made my heart laugh to see them having such a good time!

 

 

Later, after they were all settled down,

Will took some time to sit and read to his lil' sisters...

 

 

 

Ally enjoyed reading a lot in the book she is reading,

"The Journals of Jim Elliot".

She was writing a few quotes that really spoke to her heart.

It was a blessing to hear them from her...

 

 

We also added a song to her blog today.

It is a song by Abigail Miller,

which is the same woman singing on my blog.

It is a beautiful song with beautiful words

(which Ally posted).
