Welcome to HsKubes' HomeSchool Haven

Tending to our sheep...

" Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks,
and to look well to thy herds."
~ Proverbs 27:23

A conservative, Christian, military family's journey in relaxed home education. A haven where academics are secondary to spiritual things and we strive to aim our precious 'arrows' toward the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Relocation Journey: The Movers Came...

Posted in Military Matters

The packers finished all of their packing

so yesterday they loaded everything into the truck...

The children made the best of it...

They were all interested in watching as the movers

disassembled furniture, moved boxes, and loaded the truck...

Here were the younger ones watching the movers

while they sat on the couch eating apples...

Ally caught hubby and I in a candid moment...

After the house was empty,

the children found ways to fill their time...

Here the girls were spinning in circles.

Here, they were playing a game.

While Carolynne read a book...

It has been interesting so far,

filling up our days while we have little left out.

But we are making the best of our situation

and are, in many ways, enjoying ourselves.

Today we are having three separate people looking at the house

and are continuing to pray the Lord will send the right buyer,

all in His perfect timing.

And until we leave the house,

here is my current blogging station...

I'll be praying for you and your family. Moving can be quite stressfull, but so exciting too. You will soon have a new place to explore. Where are you moving, or did you say and I just missed it.

You are probably the most peaceful, joy-filled person, I have the had privilidge reading about!

The thought of moving makes me depressed, not because of a new location in it self, but it is such a big monumental project, the act of moving. I so badly want to move. I have bad arthritis, rhuematic arthritis, and Reynaud's disease. How I pray to move to warmer weather. But the actual though of moving makes me anxious and hesitant. lol. In the almost 22 year that we have been married, we have moved 3 times. 2 times too many in my opinion.

I am sure you all are so excited about the move, though! I pray for all your hopes to be realized in this new time in your lives. For your home to be sold, for your new house to become a home for your family, for the children to be at peace.

God bless you. ~madeleine
