A Butterfly for Supper??

Yesterday evening, Ally found a butterfly laying on the ground
so she picked it up and brought into the house to show me.
Everyone was fascinated with the beautiful creature...
We recognized the type of butterfly it was
from a few that we saw at a trip to Burger King last month.

We had fun examining it up close...
We invited "Flit" to stay for supper...
Then we let it go back outside.
It was a lovely addition to our supper table
and I'm sure the children will always remember
the evening we had a butterfly join us for supper.

Hi there. Just wondering what you guys found to do today and what kind of insect, dinner guest you had over today. We saw some pretty butterflies this morning and this afternoon, the boys chased some lizards around.
