Welcome to HsKubes' HomeSchool Haven

Tending to our sheep...

" Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks,
and to look well to thy herds."
~ Proverbs 27:23

A conservative, Christian, military family's journey in relaxed home education. A haven where academics are secondary to spiritual things and we strive to aim our precious 'arrows' toward the Lord Jesus Christ.

Going Forward... Good Bye for Now...

Posted in Military Matters

I'm sorry I've been a bit quiet here the past few days or so.

We've been so busy with fellowshipping and saying our good-byes

and with cleaning, packing, etc...

It seems that it's official...

we will be moving tomorrow to head to our new duty station.

Thank you SO much to everyone that has been praying.

We appreciate your prayers very much.

We have determined that it is not the Lord's will

for us to sell our house right now and have decided to lease it out.

We signed papers today and are continuing to pray

the Lord will work out His perfect will.

We are excited to be able to make our move tomorrow... together.

We are unsure where we will live and what we will do

but we are still very excited to see what the Lord has planned.

It is always bittersweet to leave behind

friends, familar places, fond memories, etc...

But we are looking forward to this new season in our lives.

I will try to update y'all when I am able,

though I do not know when that will be.

I look forward to getting settled in to a new place

and back into a 'normal-ish' life,

though we are making the best of it

and enjoying the moments we are spending together.

So until the next time...

Good-bye for now.

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:

he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in

from this time forth, and even for evermore."

 ~ Psalm 121

I remember when Scott read Psalm 121 when you left here. That's been a while hasn't it? Hope you find some place to settle in soon.

Tuesday, November 14, 2006 - I'll be watching...

Thoughts shared by Happymama

I'll be watching for your next post. I haven't commented lately, I know. I've been watching over my mother since her knee replacement surgery, working on a lady's fellowship and SIGMA Rush night. It's been busy, busy, busy here. LOL I'm sure you've been busy too.

Glad to hear you're able to move together. I'm sure that whatever the Lord has for you will be made known to you soon.

It's so reassuring that God knows exactly where you're going even if you don't!
Praying that He'll lead you to the exact right place! Looking forward to hearing how it all works out.
