Another Visitor... I Caught Him on Video...

Posted in HomeSchool Happenings

Today we had another visitor!
God's creation was quite busy in our backyard today.
We saw at least five different types of birds,
including a blue jay that swooped by our window.
Ally was also able to catch two squirrels
chasing each other around the tree.
I was able to catch our new visitor at our feeder.
He didn't seem to mind that I was moving closer...

You'll need to click PLAY twice to watch the video

Hi there. Thanks for stopping by to visit. Your blog is looking really great. Makes me wish I was there to share the bird adventures!

We got a lovely Christmas card from your way. You did a great job, did you do it yourself, if not how did you get it like that? We all love your photos, you will be on our fridge, hope you don't mind!

Nothing profound to say so not much blogging for myself lately. However, my daughter did discover a small snake while looking out my restroom window the other night. The window was open and the snake was on my lattice. She screamed "snake". My husband came running and I went to hide in the other bathroom. He went outside to get it and brought it in and the boys and he checked it out. They took digital photos of it but I have no desire to see them. Now, everynight this week, I've dreamed of snakes. And..........in the dollar store yesterday, Malachi came after me with a black rubber snake, I tried to act cool and calmly wake away from him but I had to yell out to Miranda and head for the card rack and hide from him. I am breaking out in a sweat just thinking of it.

Well, enough of that! Glad thing seem to be going well over there! Things are going nicely here. WE miss you guys and can't wait to see yall!

love and prayers, Lisa

Very cool! When I first read "Ally caught 2 squirrels", I thought you meant literally! :)
My children did that once with a booby trap of sorts they set up..... (squirrel was unharmed. ;)

Such a cute little friend. My little visitor on our bird feeder is slightly larger...............a squirrel, but he's cute too.
