A Quick Hello...

Posted in Daily Life

I hope that you all have had a joyful Christmas weekend.

We enjoyed visiting with some of my husband’s family

and visiting with friends, exchanging a few gifts,

having food and fellowship, making ‘family’ phone calls,

making and eating our birthday cake for Jesus,

and focusing on our Saviour.

We also enjoyed attending services Sunday morning and evening

and gathering around the church piano to sing Christmas carols.

We look forward to spending the next few weeks

with my beloved before he leaves for Iraq.

I’m not sure how often I’ll be blogging

as we prepare for my husband’s departure.

But I just wanted to pop in and say hello…

Oh, and I wanted to share this photo of Will.

Sunday morning I instructed him to pick out a tie for church,

he came back with his bowtie.

A very nice choice, in my opinion.

I thought he looked so handsome in his bowtie…

Enjoy your week!

What a nice picture of Will. He does look handsome, and I love bow ties too! Blue is his color.

Sounds like you had a very nice Christmas day. It
s been a good day here and nice cold weather too! Thank you Lord!

Been lookin' at houses over yonder, some real cute out in the middle of no where!! No paperwork on orders yet. Not sure how long that takes anyway.

Have a great week and do enjoy your time with your hubby before he leaves.

Love the Lord, Lisa

He looks so handsome! I'm glad to be back visiting you. I've been off blog for a bit, trying to focus on family. Praying for your family as your DH prepares to deploy.

Will does look very handsome indeed. Quite gentlemanly, if I do say so myself. :)

Sounds like you had a great Christmas. We did too. I'm having to post in parts because of all the pictures I took. You know me....camera happy. LOL Anyway, I hope you enjoy the rest of your week.

Great pics of your kids. And I don't know if I said before, but I LOVE your family pic, it turned out great.
Praying for you during this month of preparation.

okay, now... totally don't take this wrong... I love bowties on little boys and MINE wear them too, but with my red headed boys... and with yours I always think of that little boy on the movie "Problem Child" b/c he wore a boy tie all the time and had red hair. I am NOt implying that your child is in ANY way like the character in the movie though b/c I KNOW he is a well-trained, wonderful boy! But I could not help but think of that movie when I saw this photo!
