Oh, how I love how the Lord is actively teaching me the truths of His Word!

Today He, once again, allowed me to experience the truth of His Word in

Proverbs 29:15 when it says "...a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame."

While I was here on the computer this morning, the girls (ages 2 and 3) were coloring at the table in their coloring books.I got up to check on them and...well... apparently they felt Mommy's carpet wasn't pretty enough for them. They had taken the crayons and moved into the living room to bring wonderful colors of green, red, and orange to Mommy's drab cream carpet.

Well, lesson learned was... I left them alone and, boy, was I ashamed.

Ally (12) and I cleaned what we could with the stain remover while the girls sweetly helped to clean the carpet with..... their diaper wipes. It was a sweet time. The lil' girls came to me and said,"I's sorry mommy fo colowing on the capet." How precious they are to me!

Thank you, Lord, for the gentle lesson today.

Thank you, Lord, for those precious children You have entrusted me with.
