Beach sketch... palm tree stump

Today, Ally sketched the stump of the palm tree
we saw at our ocean beach trip last Friday.
She sketched from the photo I took.
I thought she did a great job!

Hi Christina,
Tell Ally she's doing wonderful work! One of our favorite things to do when the weather is right, is to go take a blanket, sketch pads, and drawing utensils to the park. I can't wait for spring!! BTW, I love your blog. I can see you've been at it for a while. (I have alot to learn from you! =]) I see that we have alot in common. Plus, the military....well, I was an army brat long ago. I loved the life.
