I said last Monday I was going to start my Hymn of the week.
But Monday and Tuesday passed without me getting a chance to write it.
That's OK, because I was seriously debating between 3 songs.
After much time playing them on the piano and meditating on the words,
I picked one that I just found Monday...
Lord Let Me Serve
People are longing to learn of the Savior;
Children are growing not knowing He cares.
Lord, let me tell them about your compassion.
Lord, where can I be used?
(c) Lord, let me serve; Lord, let me follow.
Give me a place and a purpose to fill.
Teach me to serve; teach me to follow.
Use me to do your will.
Lord, let me serve where ever You need me.
Make me a vessel thro' which You can flow.
Give me a mission, a place of fulfillment.
Lord, where can I be used?
Ready and willing to give You my talent.
Show me the task and I'll serve You today.
Give me a passion to work for Your glory.
Lord, where can I be used?
Lyrics: Linda Lee Johnson
Music: Tom Fettke
... what a song! It has really spoken to me and encouraged me in following God's will. He has given me a burden for lost souls and I feel He might be calling me to the mission field someday. I hope these words speak to you too.

I recently got the keybord out of the garage (where we kept it) and am trying to teach myself to play it.
By the way the books I've read from Keeper Of The Faith are:
A DOZEN OF THEM
THE EXACT TRUTH
BERNIE'S WHITE CHICKEN
LEAST SAID SOONEST MENDED
FERN'S HOLLOW
A HEGE FENCE (However you spell that!)
THE CHILDREN OF CLOVERLY
THE BIBLE IN THE WALL
Which books have you read?
Good-bye

P.S
Sorry it took me so long to respond.
