Woah! Where'd the week go? I've been so busy with my friend moving, I haven't found time to blog! I'm gunna try real soon, though!
Oh, I found these out of an old Farmer's Almanac (not that I'd recommend reading them!) and I thought they were kinda funny! One 'poem' for each month. This one is August's...
"Thunder wakes us, Old Sol (that's the sun *Ü*) bakes us...
Find some shade or be sauteed!..."
Since I'm smiley today, I'll share my personal favorites...
Ally,
I'm just like you, I have not posted for a week and two days! Somehow it seems like I find enough time to comment on other people's blogs, while my own is neglected.
I cannot do buns either! They are hard like you said.
Oh, by the way, my Mom has the adult Regency Pattern, she told me yesterday that she is going to buy it in my size for me.
I like Amazing Grace too. I love singing.
I saw that you like writing, if you don't mind me asking what do you write about? I love writing books, stories, and poems. This August I'm going to have a poem I wrote, published for the first time! I am also entering the poem in a contest, the winner gets 10,000 dollars!
Thank you for commenting, I like getting comments.
"Let no man despise thy youth;
but be thou an example
of the believers,
in word, in conversation,
in charity, in spirit,
in faith, in purity."
~ I Timothy 4:12
I am a Christ-loving maiden of 14 years, surrendered to the will of my King to be a missionary's wife. I'm currently at a "9th grade" education level. I have been homeschooled for 8 years. My dad (and knight in shining armour) is a Marine in the United States Marine Corps. My mother is a seasoned maiden who spends her time in the castle teaching and training her maidens and knight-to-be. I am the oldest of four children. I have a knight-to-be, brother (8) and two wee maidens (4 and 3).
This is where I will share my thoughts, my accomplishments, events in my homeschooling days, what the Lord is teaching me, and more.
