Thursday Fun with Friends in Fall!

Noted in... Leisure of a Lady

Yesterday was a nice weather day, and a nice day in general!

The weather's actually starting to cool some in SC,

so I can only imagine what I'm going to get in NC!

I LOOOOVE cold weather! (I'm from Michigan!)

Anyways, we went over to a my two friends' house yesterday.

We enjoyed a great lunch of deliciously cooked chicken...

Our main purpose in coming, besides fellowship, was to make some fall cookies .

So after the yummy lunch, we got to work...

While we took what seemed forever on the cookies, the younger ones waited patiently outside...

When we finally got finshed, we went went into the bedroom to rest and watch a movie.

While, without our knowing, everyone starting digging into the cookies!

They got to ice 3 each, and there was still quite a bit leftover!

Everyone enjoyed the cookies, and I ate mine while running my fingers on their piano... I miss mine, it's in storage.

We all had a great time, and I like this cute picture...

Oh, and, Happy November!

This month has my favorite 'poem', and I have it on hand...

A scoop of vanilla on Northern hills

gives the snow-blower salesman thrills.

Silver drops turn white and float;

time to put away the boat.

Pilgrims suffered their first year;

be thankful that it's warm and clear.

I like! Hee hee. Well, tonight we're going to a friend's house for supper.

That will be nice, to actually eat at a table.

(Remember, our house has no furnature!)

(Save an old couch and lazy chair we're leaving behind.)

I admit, I can't wait until we move.

It will be nice to blog on a regular computer rather than a laptop!

in charity, in spirit,

I am a Christ-loving maiden of 14 years, surrendered to the will of my King to be a missionary's wife. I'm currently at a "9th grade" education level. I have been homeschooled for 8 years. My dad (and knight in shining armour) is a Marine in the United States Marine Corps. My mother is a seasoned maiden who spends her time in the castle teaching and training her maidens and knight-to-be. I am the oldest of four children. I have a knight-to-be, brother (8) and two wee maidens (4 and 3). This is where I will share my thoughts, my accomplishments, events in my homeschooling days, what the Lord is teaching me, and more.
