Today was a beautiful day as the sun was shining (very brightly, I might add!),
the sky was bold blue, and the weather was quite cool.
North Carolina weather, I admit, is much better than South Carolina’s
when it comes to temperature!
Although, you may disagree if you are sensitive to cold-
I’m from Michigan, hope to visit Alaska, and take freezing cold showers!
But, NC is gets pretty cool- not too much,
it’s only gotten down in the 30s once or twice while we’ve been here.
Praying for colder and snow!
Anyway, today my friends’ mom took us to lunch at Taco Bell and to the beach.
Thank you, Mz.Shiz ;).
The water felt almost as cold as Lake Huron… but not quite.
It did make me feel a bit in Michigan, though!
It felt great to dig my toes in the sand and the cool wind was refreshing.
We stayed for about 30 minutes looking for shark teeth, etc.
I only found 3 shark teeth because the tide was high and it kept messing me up.

I also found some amazing shells…

These are called ‘Shark Eyes’

These are just smooth and pretty rocks I found

Probably a common clam shell

And the unidentified species! Lol
I wasn’t able to find this cool thing in our shell book,
so if any of you know what it is, please tell me!
It almost looks like it was infected or something.
The whole time I was at the beach looking at shells,
I thought to myself how the Lord designed each and every one of the shells
that I was walking beside.
And He placed EVERY GRAIN of sand beneath my feet!
How wonderful and awesome is our God!
And on our way back, I saw some pretty purple flowers in the grass.
My True Love gave me flowers! They looked so pretty!

Sorry, I've been neglecting you sadly of late. What lovely shells! Is it hot enough to go to the beach over there? I'm happy you guys found the right house. Well, I've gotta go,
