In my last post, I was tagged by TheLordsDaughter.
Here are the Q&As:
1. Are you a Christian?
Yes I am, and NOT ashamed!
2. If the above answer was “yes” how old were you
when you became a Christian?
When I was 5, I prayed to go to Heaven.
But I didn’t really understand exactly it meant until later,
so I was born-again when I was 9.
3. What is your favorite Bible verse?
There are so so so many I LOVE,
but I think my favorite would have to be…
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
4. Who is your favorite Old Testament character?
I’d have to say Joseph.
Life is hard, and he found that out, but he was faithful to God
and knew that God would take care of him.
5. Who (with the exception of Jesus)
is your favorite New Testament character?
Paul!
I love how, through him, God shows how He can change ANYONE
and use anyone. How God’s forgiveness is so great,
that he can forgive anyone who is sorry and asks for it.
I also admire his humiltity.
6.Where are you reading in the Bible right now?
Philippians. My next quiet time will be in chapter 2.
7. Are you trying to memorize any portion of the Bible right now?
Yes. I’m also trying to memorize at least 1 verse a week.
8. Is the above answer was “yes”
what is the referece to the portion that you are memorizing?
Right now, I’m working on Galatians 5:24&25-
“And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh
with the affections and lusts.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”
I’ve also been memorizing the 8th Psalm.
