Happy Valentine's and a New Song For My Blog...

Happy Valentines Day to all!
Especially to my True Love.
What a wonderful day to tell our Beloved we love Him!
(Everyday is, really, but today especially,
in the atmosphere of love, let’s keep Jesus first!)

My Jesus, I Love Thee

My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine;
For Thee all my follies of sin I resign;
My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou:
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ‘tis now.

I love Thee because Thou hast first loved me,
And purchased my pardon on Calvary’s tree;
I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow;
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ‘tis now.

I’ll love Thee in life, I will love Thee in death,
And praise Thee as long as Thou lendest me breath;
And say when the death dew lies cold on my brow;
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ‘tis now.

In mansions of glory and endless delight,
I’ll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright;
I’ll sing with the glittering drown on my brow;
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ‘tis now.

words: William R. Featherston
music: Adoniram J. Gordon

Remember to spend some intimate time with Jesus today!

P.S.~ Thank you all who are praying for my medical issues.
          I’m definitely feeling wonderfully in spirit!

Thanks for your work on this blog. You've posted some really thought-provoking songs and helped me find the lyrics to "Only One Life" :-)

I had never heard it before my trip to the Philippines, but the young people in our churches there were singing it so I thought I'd try to do it in church here...

I am a Christ-loving maiden of 14 years, surrendered to the will of my King to be a missionary's wife. I'm currently at a "9th grade" education level. I have been homeschooled for 8 years. My dad (and knight in shining armour) is a Marine in the United States Marine Corps. My mother is a seasoned maiden who spends her time in the castle teaching and training her maidens and knight-to-be. I am the oldest of four children. I have a knight-to-be, brother (8) and two wee maidens (4 and 3). This is where I will share my thoughts, my accomplishments, events in my homeschooling days, what the Lord is teaching me, and more.
