It's gonna be a LOOOONG softball season!!
| The "Kick-off Tournament" for softball was today. Lindsay's team played a double-header--right in the middle of the day. Unfortunately, the girls lost both games. I felt bad for Lindsay. She is the oldest player on the team, and has the most experience, but she got barely any playing time--especially in the first game. In the second game she got a little more playing time, and she looked great out there! She plays right field, and she really has the concept of how to play that position. Batting was another story for her today. Unfortunately, she was at the bottom of the line-up and struck out each time she batted. She was so angry with herself! They have another game Tuesday night, so maybe they will play better as a team then. I certainly hope so; otherwise, it's gonna be a LOOOOONG season! |
