Friday Show n' Tell

Well yesterday we spent the day at the American Royal in KC. My daughter showed her heifer and place 4th in her junior class and 5th in the open show. If you're interested to know more about what American Royal is all about, you may click here.

This picture here is just a small glimpse of what it was like inside. It was huge inside. Two floors was full of cattle. I have no idea how many there were.

this is sooooooooo neat. I have gone to fairs like the Puallup in Washington State and the PNE in Vancover , BC. But I have never seen them show off their heifer's. That looks so intresting. I sure wished I could be there to see it in person.

Thanks so much for stopping by! It encourages me to know that teaching my gals ( and myself) sign language will help others. Its not easy to learn! So many signs are near the same as another.
Boy does you S and T bring back memories. Your daughters heifer is beautiful! I grew up on a farm part of my life. We raised hertfords and angus. I showed in 4H.

Oh what neat pictures! That's what farming is all about. Congratulations to your daughter, that is quite a showing! Your farm sounds wonderful! I went to Bible college in Springfield, MO.

What a great show and tell. I am sure everyone had a lot of fun. I've never showed cows but I remember the fun I had with Rachel this past summer at the county fair (4-H) showing our horses. Country fun at it's finest!
