My place to write about special needs (particularly autism and sensory integration issues), families spread out over larger age ranges, homeschooling children previously in public schools, and anything else that might cross my mind.

My beautiful 2G17 played Mary this year in our Bethlehem. Our church pulls off this beautiful remake of the entire city of Bethlehem, it is truly awesome!! The final scene allows people to walk by and gaze at Mary and Joseph holding a real little baby Jesus. We were very blessed this year to have our daughter play "Mary" and it has really blessed each of us. Her brothers were certainly more interested in the entire presentation, while those of us older were able to give greater thought to those days of arrival for the very blessing that saved the world. And my 2G17? Wow, did she take it to heart. As she sat for her two hours each night she told me she gave much thought to those very moments for Mary. What did she think about her beautiful baby as she gazed into his face? Did she realize He would save her very soul?
We wish you a truly blessed Christmas!! Happy Birthday Jesus! And thank you for saving my soul.
What are you doing to spread his Message this year? We would love to hear about everything, from musicals and plays, to homeschool projects and family crafts, Christmas dinners and family traditions, please take a moment and share with us. And hug yourself for me!!
He will be dedicated this Sunday, on Father's Day!! Now, how cool is that? He already belongs so much to my Heavenly Father, it is unbelievably appropriate to have him dedicated on that day as well.
I almost didn't include this one, it is already so old. And ewww, I look awful, I suppose I'll always hate pictures. But the boys are adorable! And proud Daddy is priceless, that SMILE!!
