Little Guy on a swing - a doll swing, actually (poor doll swing):
Thea "nursing, babies"??
And puppies yet!? This is an obvious Butterfly setup. Poor Thea sat still too long...
Here's a video of some giggly Ladybugs, with cute little happy noises.
This video shows some happy little Ladybugs, until Otis appears. Ladybug II is still acquiring a tolerance for cats, but she's coming around. This was actually from almost a month ago. There's also a very brief appearance from Little Guy, complete with "stimmy" toys & chewey bib. He's uncharacteristically camera shy in this one, & quickly turns & walks away.
Little Guy likes things that go round & round. He also likes to go round & round himself, so the game "Ring Around the Rosie" is a complete hit with him. He does also enjoy watching his siblings "all fall down" even though he most often won't do this himself.
Most of the time he just likes to watch Storyman & Butterfly play running around type games, so at least with this one he can get involved, even if it is a bit "stimmy" for him. He is still non verbal, but will pull them up & about when he wants them to "play", even if it's just with each other so he can watch.
Here is a new video of the 3 of them playing together this morning.
The Ladybugs had their first taste of their very first food, avocado. I mashed up some organic avocado for them, since it's a healthy option, low sugar, with healthy fats.
They enjoyed the experience, but not necessarily the taste! Watch it happen, here.
Ladybug I was a bit cranky the other day, & I had to tend to her sister, so Storyman held her for a few minutes while reading about David Livingstone aloud. Does she look interested?
My little Ladybug I likes to stand in her portacrib now, but her pants don't always want to stand with her!
This is in the full size crib, so she has to "peek" over more...
Got some recent video here, with her having some fun standing, & her sister watching from the high chair. You can also hear a Bible skip counting CD we were enjoying; you can find it here.
Butterfly was relaxing the other day when she ended up with some company. The cats are always looking for someone to snuggle up to; only one cat was missing, as Clarabel was sitting on the other end of the couch.
And finally, our little "knox in box" is at it again. This is the box we keep many of the Thomas tracks & engines in; he empties it daily. This time he decided to see how comfy it was. Notice the sopping wet shirt getting chewed to bits? This is a new "thing" lately.
I had a consult with the homeopath for Big Guy the other day, & Little Guy is today. I have a few things to share (such as the above issue). I will update more on this later tonight or this weekend.
I have a couple of really wonderful videos of Little Guy to share, that are showing some really positive changes for him. It has been so interesting to watch him lately, & I praise God for all He's allowing to happen here. It's very early on in their new protocol, but he's young so sometimes the youngers will respond quicker.
Little Guy wants to be with us much more during our schooltime, & is often scrambling onto my lap, or trying to squiggle behind Storyman & Butterfly to share their chair space. Sometimes he'll just climb into his own booster & hang out with us. There's a video of Storyman taking this opportunity to have some fun with his little brother, & Little Guy was loving it!
I was nothing short of amazed at Little Guy's behavior in the next two videos (I couldn't choose between which ones to post, so I posted both! Please excuse the house, but we live here haha).
Little Guy noticed Storyman & Butterfly acting a bit crazy together, jumping around, etc, & was really getting excited. He was doing a little happy excited type "dance". They're not used to him wanting to be involved in their play, so I had to mention to Storyman that he was there & enjoying the fun. Then they all got into it, playing a little game with him where they would pretend he was chasing them. Normally I correct running in the house, but this time I just couldn't! (I did ask them to take it easy & be careful!). I don't think Little Guy really understood the game, but he was having so much fun!
(In one of them you can clearly hear Ladybug I's little tongue rolls again!).
It was so much fun for me to watch 3 of my children actually playing together!
I've been wanting to post these videos for a while, but this week has been so busy with all the supplements, remedies, schooling, e-training, etc. I want more blogging time!
I posted a couple of cute videos of the Ladybugs. The first shows them interacting so sweetly together, reaching out to each other, cooing & laughing, right from their "fun seats"! These little twins are so fun to watch. The second shows little Ladybug II jumping like a little joey in her "Jumperoo"; she loves that thing & has really strong legs for such a peanut!
There's a really special one of Little Guy I hope to post tomorrow!
I have a short video up where Big Guy & Little Guy are right near each other doing some typical "stims" of theirs, although there are many more kinds for them both. Big Guy is doing his usual "hand stim" with a toy, & Little Guy is fascinated with the belt that holds his booster seat on the chair, because he is interested in anything stick or string like. They are both verbally stimming a bit. I sent this one to our homeopath, along with a couple of others specific to each boy, to give her a better idea of what they are like. There have been times they've tassled over a similar favorite "stimmy" toy & will take it away from each other (of course that is easier for Big Guy).
Coming very soon - another new video with some great stuff!
Ladybug I is sitting up to play mostly now. Ladybug II is still a bit wobbly but she's trying it out more. She still enjoys clapping. Ladybug I clapped for the first time yesterday, but only once; we cheered, she smiled big, & that was pretty much it. She's not as interested in that as her sister is yet!
This evening the kids were outside with their dad so I had the Ladybugs on a blanket having some free time without any worries of being run over. They were really enjoying it, especially Ladybug I. She was sitting up playing & squeeling. Then she'd fall over, I'd say "Ooops!" & she'd laugh & laugh. It was really fun to watch.
I wish I had video of that, but at least I enjoyed the moment. I do have some video of her sitting up in her crib having some fun, here.
Ladybug II clapped, for the first time, yesterday! It was so much fun; we would call out "yaaaaay" & she would clap & clap! (What a nice way to interrupt our schoolwork haha). These baby firsts, every one of them, are just SO precious & fleeting...
Here's a picture from yesterday; she's in mid-clap. You can watch her in action on this video I took today, here!
Storyman is up to Part 5 of his Super Otis series. Check back soon too, because within a day or two Part 6 will be up - the exciting finale!
I recently got Little Guy his own booster to sit up at the table, so the Ladybugs have taken up the high chair. Instead of buying another high chair, I had a "Space saver high chair" for one. It sits on a chair, so takes up less room. They switch which one they sit in each time for some variety. This isn't the best of pics; there's a smudge on Ladybug I. The regular high chair is bulkier, but they're about at the same level since it's adjustable.
Here is a video of them playing in their high chairs. I had bought those new poodle toys for them when they were still inside babies, but hadn't given them until yesterday. It was something new & interesting, for a few moments anyway.
The Ladybugs rarely nap at the same time. Thankfully this morning they were cozied up & took a nice nap...
The Ladybugs needed some new clothes. Butterfly's birthday is the opposite season, so I didn't have much. That gap should close as they get older though, as it did for the older boys. For now The Children's Place has some good online sales. I also did a lot of Ebay shopping & was able to get them some cute matching outfits, mostly Gymboree stuff. I'm very picky, not allowing shorts, tank tops or even sleeveless for the girls, & I am conservative with the boys as well. It's really disturbing to see the kinds of clothes out there for girls, little girls, & even baby girls. It's twice as disturbing to see how many Christians feel this stuff is appropriate to wear. The more I see it, the more convicted I feel to do the opposite. My daughter feels it's normal for her not to wear jeans or shorts & that some kind of legging is normal under a dress or skirt, & this is good! More on that topic in other posts. For now I'm selling on Ebay to make up for the buying!
The one thing that I don't like when I buy off Ebay is when sellers wash their clothes in smelly detergents or use those stinky dryer sheets. Sometimes they even pack the clothes in them. I'm chemically sensitive, but there isn't anything clean or natural smelling about those stinky detergents & dryer sheets, & they are very often irritating, especially to babies & small children with sensitive skin. I end up having to wash those clothes multiple times, using baking soda & white vinegar to get out the smell.
I've been looking through the bigger boys clothes to see what I had for Little Guy, & I found this shirt that I had bought for my Big Guy (when he was a little guy!):
Butterfly with her "tooth treats", which she knows are from us, after losing both of her top front teeth yesterday (story here)... hear her new sound here.
The new video I've posted caught Little Guy in one of his yeasty giggling episodes. He was laughing a lot before I turned the video on & calmed down a bit once it was on (of course) but I still caught a lot. Some examples of yeasty behavior are acting "spacey", stimming, running or spinning in circles, tantrums, & head banging. Another yeasty type behavior is laughing for no apparent reason. Little Guy mostly does the "spacey" thing & circling, he rarely giggles like this out of nowhere, for no reason. Big Guy has done that a lot more, so I'll try to catch him sometime too!
Even though it's a symptom of yeast & yeast die off, Little Guy does have a really cute giggle, & it's certainly much better than head banging!
There's a new video on the video blog, this time capturing my more severe kiddos, Big Guy & Little Guy, & some of their typical behaviors. They were both in happy moods, although Big Guy was a bit giddy & yeasty, but things were pretty quiet during this video.
Storyman got an early birthday present that he just loves, & in this new video he is featured playing with it & wearing his new glasses. There is also a brief appearance by Butterfly & one of our kitties, Clarabel.
I tried to catch this funny noise Ladybug I makes; it's like she's rolling her tongue. In this video from about a week ago you can hear it twice, even though everytime I put the video on her she'd stop!
For purely technical reasons, I decided to start a video blog elsewhere... so to follow our journey on video, you can find me here. The first one up there is from about 2 weeks ago.
