I am in my 22nd year of homeschooling. I am homeschooling my 7 year old grandson after homeschooling both of my sons, K-12. I am using My Father's World curriculum and recommend it to everyone. I live with my husband of 33 years. My youngest graduated from college (with honors) in 2002 and is getting married. My oldest lives in a house on our property and his son, my oldest grandson (of two, so far), just comes up the hill to go to "school".

Homeschoolers "threatening" to what it means to be American?
You really should click on this. These are the kind of politicians that are running in many of our states. If you don't think state and local elections are as important as the Presidential one, you would be wrong. These state governments are who make laws concerning homeschooling.
"According to U.S. Senate candidate Mark Warner (Democrat), there's a coalition of people that have "all sorts of different views that I think most of us in this room would find threatening to what it means to be an American." This "coalition" includes pro-lifers and homeschoolers."
Watch this campaign video.
Pass this on to your other homeschool outlets. Virginian's need to hear this.
What is wrong with this country!? How are homeschoolers, pro-lifers, people who want to defend themselves, Christians and whatever else this man sees as threatening going to harm our country? This guy needs a good dose of reality! These categories are all what founded our nation! He is obviously not thinking clearly! Yikes!
